2025 Morgan Plus Six Pinnacle Edition

In 2019, the British company Morgan Motor presented the two-door roadster Morgan Plus Six. Five years later, the company announced that this model had reached its end, and for the occasion, the company produced a special edition, the Morgan Plus Six Pinnacle Edition.

The exterior of the Pinnacle Edition is identical to the standard model, and buyers will be able to choose a body color. However, the interior of the car has undergone certain changes. Comfortable and elegant seats are upholstered in Pawn, Explore or Riviera leather with unique stitching and Pinnacle embroidery. Leather also covers the door panels, upper dash and sun visors, some parts are covered in sheepskin, while the aluminum Pinnacle logo is on the center console veneer.

When it comes to the powertrain, the car is powered by BMW’s 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder engine with 340 hp (250 kW) and
368 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 267 km/h (166 mph).

Morgan Motor will produce just 30 units of the Pinnacle Edition with a starting price of £96,995.

Jaguar produced two unique E-Types

Marking half a century since the end of production of the E-Type, Jaguar produced a special edition of this model, the Jaguar E-Type Commemorative. However, a few days ago two more cars were produced for a special client in Asia.

One coupe is painted in Signet Green, the other in Opal Black, and they are unique due to their special and expensive specifications. The exterior is adorned with mother of pearl, hallmarked solid silver and 18ct gold badging, setting the E-type Commemorative apart from the rest.

The interior features seats covered in Bridge of Weir leather handcrafted in Jaguar Classic’s workshop, the center console bears an engraving of the original early Series 1 E-type blueprint, a heated windshield, a Bluetooth radio, and accessories made by the oldest jewelry store in England, Deakin & Francis, which has been in business since 1786.

When it comes to the powertrain, both cars are powered by a 3.8-liter 6-cylinder engine with an electronic fuel injection system, mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

It is not known who is the owner of these cars or how much he paid for them.

The Theon R is a Porsche 964 with 500 HP

British company Theon Design dedicated to creating the ultimate air-cooled Porsche 911 has presented its latest project, Theon R. It is a lightweight car based on the Porsche 964.

The Theon R weighs less than 1,000 kilograms thanks to the use of carbon fiber used in Formula 1, which means it is lighter than the newer model GT3 RS (1,482 kg) and the original Miata (1,002 kg). This material was used in the body and interior panels. It is equipped with a large rear wing reminiscent of the 1974 Carrera RSR, carbon ceramic brakes, a Wavetrac limited-slip differential, independently adjustable MCS shock absorbers, and Minilite-style rims.

It is powered by an air-cooled 4.0-L flat-six engine with 500 hp (368 kW). That’s less than the 525 hp (386 kW) of the modern GT3 RS, but the Theon R’s advantage is a better power-to-weight ratio. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds, while it takes 6.5 seconds to reach 160 km/h (99 mph). That’s remarkable considering the GT3 RS (2025) achieves an almost identical time.

Theon Design will produce only 24 units of this car and it will take around 18 months for the builds to be completed. When it comes to price, the Theon R costs just over $850,000 and that doesn’t include the donor 964, any shipping costs, or taxes.
