Apollo Intensa Emozione – One of the rarest and most expensive cars

One of the rarest and most expensive cars has just landed on American soil. It is an Apollo Intensa Emozione with a V12 engine and 780 hp.

This hyper car is a product of the German company Apollo and is made of carbon fiber. It is powered by a 6.3-liter V12 engine with 780 hp (574 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 561 lb-ft (760 Nm) of torque at 6,000 rpm. It reaches 62 mph (100 km / h) in 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 208 mph (335 km / h). For better power transmission, the engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Apollo Intensa Emozione has a carbon fiber chassis made in collaboration with HWA AG and Capricorn Group, adjustable rear wing, high downforce front splitter, front and rear double wishbone suspension with pushrod and rocker anti roll bar. The car is driven on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged aluminum BBS rims and Michelin Sport Cup2 tires. For safe braking and stopping there are 380 mm Brembo Carbo-Ceramic discs.

Apollo offers three driving modes: Comfort, Sport and Auto. The Electro-Hydraulic Lifter allows the driver to raise the vehicle height by 50 mm, up to a maximum of 160 mm, at 19 mph (30 km / h). The car meets all FIA safety standards, and buyers have many options in creating their car.

Only 10 copies of this hyper car have been produced. If you want to own one of them, you will have to pay $ 2.71 million.

Land Rover Defender Trophy Edition

For the last 20 years of the 20th century, an annual off road competition called the Camel Trophy has been held. Land Rover dedicated a special version of the Defender Trophy Edition to this competition.

The car is based on the Defender 110 P400 X-Dynamic SE model and the exterior is inspired by off-road vehicles. Only 220 copies of the Defender Trophy Edition will be produced and will be sold exclusively in North America. All specimens are colored yellow. The original Camel logo has been replaced with a new one, to avoid copyright issues. The logo is placed on both doors.

The Defender Trophy Edition is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder P400 engine and a 48-volt hybrid system. Total engine power is 397 hp (292 kW) and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque. The car is equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and has all-wheel drive. Off road equipment such as air springs, electronically controlled differential, 360-degree cameras, etc., is an integral part of standard equipment. It reaches 62 mph (100 km / h) in 6.1 seconds with a top speed of 129 mph (208 km / h).

Each buyer will have the opportunity to take part in an adventure with on and off road challenges. The competition will be held in North Carolina and the winner of the competition will have the opportunity to participate in the Land Rover Trophy competition in England. The starting price of each unit will be $ 91,000.

Porsche 911 Turbo S “One of a Kind” Pedro Rodriguez

Fifty years ago, the best Mexican driver ever, Pedro Rodriguez, lost his life in an accident at a race in Germany. In his honor, Porsche produced a special copy of the 911, the Porsche 911 Turbo S “One of a Kind” Pedro Rodriguez.

Pedro Rodriguez has died at the age of 31, and in his rich career he has achieved many victories such as 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona (4 wins), Formula 1 Grand Prix (2 wins) and many others. In one part of his career he was the driver of a Porsche and in his honor they produced this special model.

“Pedro Rodríguez continues to be the Latin American driver who has given Porsche the most triumphs and joy. With this unique car in the world we want to pay tribute to a unique, irreplaceable driver, an idol of the past and a legend of today, ”says George Wills, CEO of Porsche Latin America.

The car was done in the colors used at the time Rodriguez achieved the most victories by driving a Porsche 917 KH.
