At the beginning of 2023, a new BMW electric vehicle called the iX M60 will hit the market. The car will have a more aggressive look and a lot of improvements, but also a 560 hp engine.

Meanwhile, later this year BMW will introduce the EV models, xDrive40 and xDrive50. The BMW iX models have a larger panoramic roof, 4D surround sound system, thirty speakers (eight in the headrests).

The xDrive40 will use a 70 kW battery sufficient for a range of 249 miles (400 km) and will produce 300 hp (240 kW) and will reach 60 mph in about 6 seconds. The starting price of this model is $ 90,900.

The xDrive50 model will run two 70 kW electric motors that will produce 500 hp. The engines will be powered by a 100 kWh battery. It will accelerate from 0 – 60 mph in less than 5 seconds and will have a range of 373 miles (600 km). Both models will use a fast charging mode, thanks to 200 kW DC chargers that take only 40 minutes for 80 percent of the battery.

Porsche RUF BTR

On April 21, the auction house RMSothebys will sell the Porsche RUF BTR. It is a model that is the dream of most Porsche car owners.

The auction model was produced in 1981. In 1987, the German company RUF Automobile made car modifications at the request of the owner. The first owner, after moving from Germany to California, in 1987 moved the car to the United States.

RUF Automobile has installed a 3.4-liter engine with 374 hp, a new intercooler and exhaust system with four pipes, a five-speed gearbox with rear-wheel drive. 1988 the car got new suspension and seats.

The auction model features 17-inch forged wheels with Continental tires, tartan seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The car covered 83,685 kilometers (just over 52,000 miles). The auction will take place in Michigan and the Porsche RUF BTR is expected to reach a price of $ 100,000.

All electric Peugeot 308

Peugeot has announced that the 308 model will get an electric version. In response to the VW ID.3 model, Peugeot has announced that the electric 308 will be on the market in 2023.

The electric 308 model will be based on a platform consisting of two options: the CMP platform used by small cars (Citroen C4), for all-electric propulsion and Peugeot’s e-VMP platform as an upgraded EMP2 platform for electric vehicles. The upgraded EMP2 platform is considered the best solution for the electric 308 model.

The Model 3008 will be the first to use a new platform that is thought to be used for the all-electric 308 model as well.

Volkswagen is safe when it comes to sports versions, as Peugeot has no intention of producing GTI and Sport models.
