Germany based tuner, Mansory, has revealed its new work, the Ferrari F8 Spider. It is a luxury car with a special equipment package called “Soft Kit” thanks to which the high-performance convertible looks more aggressive.

Soft Kit brings new carbon parts with yellow details, as a contrast to the traditional red color, such as front splitter, side skirts, air outtake splitter for front bonnet, rear lights carbon cover and rear bumper air outtake splitter. The side mirror housings are covered with carbon, while at the rear an additional spoiler is placed above the factory one. The door handles are made of carbon, as are the air intakes for the V8 engine.

The original rims were replaced with a new black set of 21-inch (front) and 22-inch (rear) rims.

The car is based on the Ferrari F8 Tributo which is powered by the same twin-turbo 3.9 liter V8 engine with 710 hp (522 kW) and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It reaches 62 mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 211 mph (340 km / h).

BMW and Alpina have become one

After 57 years of successful cooperation, the German car brand BMW and the tuner Alpina have become one. This news was announced yesterday by the BMW Group.

BMW is currently silent on the financial details of the takeover. According to the contract signed two years ago, Alpina will upgrade the models of the Bavarian car giant in its plants in the German city of Buchloe by the end of 2025. After that, all Alpina employees will become employees of BMW or its partners. Buchloe remains one of the bases where Alpina will provide spare parts and service for its cars. Also, the restoration of Alpina’s older editions will be on offer soon.

According to a recent announcement from both companies, the reason for this decision is electrification and automation. So now Alpina will have access to all the resources and engineering knowledge of BMW, which will provide the company with a better future.

Last year was the best in the history of the German tuner Alpina. More than 2,000 cars have been delivered, and engineers are currently preparing their new creations based on BMW’s redesigned 3 Series and BMW X7.
