The audience saw the Bugatti Centodieci prototype for the first time in 2019. The car is in the test phase, and only ten units of this limited edition supercar will be delivered to buyers in the middle of next year.
Since 2019, the Bugatti Centodieci has been in the development and testing phase in various climatic conditions around the world. The tests take place in the southwestern United States, and the last few photos show the Centodieci test model in the company of the Chiron Pur Sport and Chiron Super Sport models.
The tough tests that Bugatti models undergo are nothing new for the famous car company. After testing at temperatures above 50 degrees Celsius, Bugatti engineers equipped the production version of Centodieci with additional air vents that allow better cooling.
The Bugatti Centodieci is powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine which delivers a total of 1578 hp (1,176 kW). It reaches 62 mph in just 2.4 seconds with a top electronically limited speed of 240 mph (380 km / h).
Before production begins, the car also needs to pass a long-term endurance test at high speeds. The test will take place on the famous Nardò test track. In addition, the test model needs to cover about 300,000 kilometers on European roads.
