Ford Mustang Mach-E

Ford has produced a special Mustang Mach-E model for the AirVenture Show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It is a special model dedicated to Women Airforce Service Pilots of the Second World War.

The exterior of the car is made in a combination of silver and black with contrasting yellow details. The stars of the US Air Force are also on the car. The interior of the car is the same as the previous one, with the addition of a specially designed armrest with yellow contrasting stripes and the number “38”, which represents the number of female pilots who died in the air force. Yellow stripes can also be seen on the steering wheel, door panels and dashboard.

The electric Mustang Mach-E is powered by two electric motors with 346 hp and 428 lb-ft (580 Nm) of torque. With all-wheel drive, the Mustang Mach-E reaches 62 mph in 4.8 seconds. The car is based on the Mustang Mach-E Premium, and the full battery provides a range of 270 miles (435 km).

Female pilots did not take part in air battles. As volunteers, they transported planes to air bases thus making their significant contribution in World War II.

SLR McLaren 722 By McLaren Special Operation (MSO)

In 2003, Mercedes-Benz and McLaren created the SRL model, and now one copy is on sale at a very high price. It is a SLR McLaren 722 By MSO and is selling for € 2.6 million.

Tesla Semi Electric Truck

Tesla is again delaying the start of production of the Semi electric truck due to problems in the development of the new 4680 battery cells.

Although it was announced that production of the Tesla Semi electric truck would begin this year, the Q2 report confirmed the opposite. This is not the first time that the start of Semi production has been delayed. Mass production of the Semi was supposed to start in 2019, but it was postponed to 2021.

The company informed shareholders that the delay was due to limited availability of battery cells and problems in the supply chain.

“To better focus on these factors, and due to the limited availability of battery cells and global supply chain challenges, we have shifted the launch of the Semi truck program to 2022.”

The Tesla Semi has a range of 300-500 miles and will sell for $ 150,000 (base model with a range of 300 miles) and $ 180,000 (500 miles range). Up to 60 mph comes in 20 seconds with an energy consumption of 2 kWh per mile, and reservations cost $ 20,000.
