Manhart MH7 400d based on the BMW 7 Series

Powerful diesel engines are considered the best for long journeys, so they still attract the attention of tuners. Following the recently unveiled MH8 800, German tuner Manhart has introduced the luxury diesel sedan MH7 400d.

The car is based on the BMW 7 Series and is powered by a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder turbodiesel engine with 405 hp (298 kW) and 583 lb-ft (790 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with an upgraded eight-speed automatic transmission.

Inside, nothing has changed. The factory design has been retained with the addition of the Manhart logo which can be seen in several places like on the steering wheel.

The exterior is adorned with a standard Manhart blue body design with gold stripes on both sides of the car as well as the entire length of the body. The original exhaust system has been retained, the air suspension has been lowered by an additional 20-30 mm, and a carbon spoiler lip has been added both on the front apron and the trunk lid.
