In 2019, Hennessey began the story of its new convertible car, the Venom F5 Roadster, which was recently unveiled at Monterey Car Week. It is the fastest and most powerful convertible in the world, which will be produced in only 30 copies.

The Venom F5 Roadster is based on the Coupe version of this model, and comes with an 8 kg removable carbon roof panel covered in Alcantara. Owners can choose a Merino wool travel bag to store the panel in. At the back is a new tempered glass window that provides a view of the engine. What separates it from the Coupe are the specially made forged aluminum wheels with seven pairs of spokes that look like the letter “H”.

“We created the Venom F5 to be the ultimate expression of a hypercar. The Roadster version takes the Coupe’s speed, exhilaration, and awe, plus a sprinkling of respect-inducing fear, to a new, truly visceral level that brings owners closer to the Venom F5’s extreme performance,” said company founder and CEO John Hennessey. .

Under the hood is a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 1,817 hp (1,336 kW) and 1,193 lb-ft (1,617 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a robust automated single-clutch gearbox. Hennessey claims that this supercar can reach a top speed of 300 mph (483 km/h), which is significantly faster than the current speed record (265.6 mph) held by the GT Spyder.

The starting price of the Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster is $3 million, which is almost $1 million more than the Coupe version.
