2023 Porsche 911 Hybrid on the snowy roads of the north

Porsche is working hard on a hybrid version of its most famous model, which has been hiding behind the number 911 for decades. After being caught testing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife a few months ago, the 2023 Porsche 911 Hybrid is now being tested on the snowy roads of the north.

Now spy photos show several prototypes that look reminiscent of the new generation 911 Carrera, which was also tested in the snow, and which should hit the market in 2023. On the front bumper there are two large air intakes with vertical slats, while on the sides there are still unusual lights that we saw on other Porsche prototype models. At the rear, camouflage and snow hides a lot, but we can see the centrally placed exhaust pipes.

When it comes to the powertrain, there is still no information. Some rumors say that the Porsche 911 Hybrid could have over 650 hp (478 kW), but this has not been confirmed.

Porsche is also testing the 911 Cabriolet on the snowy roads of the north. The car is covered in camouflage, and rumors say it will be powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine, instead of the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six that runs the current model. The new 911 Cabriolet should hit the market in 2024.

Do not mess with farmers

Recently, a video appeared in which two drunken young men learned a life lesson, do not mess with farmers. The incident happened last year in Durham, England, on the farm of Robert Hooper.

The young men parked their Opel Corsa at the entrance to the property, and after Hooper asked them to remove the car they tried to physically attack it. Hooper took a loader, overturned the vehicle and pushed it out into the street. On his way back to the property, Hooper hit one of the young men with a forklift.

The incident has evoked great interest, especially from local communities. “I reacted this way because I felt threatened and defended my home. The Englishman’s house is his castle, and my castle starts at the entrance to the courtyard,” Hooper said.

One of the young men, 21-year-old Charlie Burns, sued Hooper for the attack. After the hearing, the court acquitted Robert Hooper. In the verdict, the judge said: “Robert is a decent member of the community who has never been punished. His actions were completely irrational, but everyone’s right to defend their home is indisputable.”

Interestingly, the judge also used the famous sentence of Iron Mike (Mike Tyson) in his address: “Everyone has a plan until they get a fist in the mouth.”
