Aston Martin Mansory DBX

The first Aston Martin SUV was the basis for Mansory’s new work. It is an Aston Martin DBX model that follows the latest trend of complete performance madness.

The Mansory equipment kit brings lightweight carbon parts such as a new front grille and front lip, additional air intakes on the hood, rear door spoiler for greater downforce, roof spoiler, new diffuser, sports exhaust system, mirror housings, and other accessories.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in black Limegreen leather. The same material can be seen on the center console, the edges of the floor mats, the decorative seams on the instrument panel and the steering wheel with a sports airbag.

What Mansory is best known for and what it is best at is engine performance. The upgraded Aston Martin DBX is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 800 hp (588 kW) and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. This is, compared to the standard model, an increase of 250 hp (184 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm). Thanks to the remapped ECU and turbochargers, it reaches 62 mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph (325 km / h). It rides on 24-inch alloy wheels with 295 / 30R24 (front) and 355 / 25R24 (rear) tires.

Refreshed Audi A8 and S8

Audi has made an effort to refresh its most desirable high-end cars, the A8 and S8 models. The new chrome front grille, as well as the modified air vents on the bumper and the new matrix lights, are just some of the novelties, and the body elements that are characteristic of the S Line equipment package will also be on offer.

Inside, minor modifications bring top-quality materials as well as the latest edition of the Audi Virtual Cockpit, with which an optional head-up display is available. In addition to the dual displays on the center console, there are also two displays for rear seat passengers who in the version with an even greater wheelbase (A8 L) can count on extra space in front of the legs.

The Audi A8 will run different engine variations depending on the market in which it will be offered. There are primarily 4-liter turbocharged V6 and V8 engines, aided by a mild plug-in hybrid technology that delivers from 340 hp to 460 hp. Audi will also offer a 3.0-liter turbo diesel V6 engine with 286 hp.

The more powerful S8 model will be powered by a 4-liter biturbo V8 engine with 571 hp (420 kW). Both models will have an eight-speed automatic transmission that will transmit power to all wheels.

Sales of both models begin next month, and the A8 model will cost around $ 115,000 (€ 100,000). The more powerful S8 is slightly more expensive and will sell for just under $ 170,000 (€ 144,800).

McLaren XE

This year has brought significant changes to McLaren. The first Arthur with a hybrid V6 engine, the abandonment of the Sport Series model, the entry of McLaren Racing into the Extreme E competition next year with the McLaren XE model, are just some of the news from McLaren.

McLaren posted a teaser on Instagram dated November 3, 2021. and the hashtag #McLarenXE, which definitely announces the arrival of a racing electric SUV for the Extreme E competition. The teaser hints at the look of the top half of the SUV, and muscular fenders are also visible, as well as cutouts for the headlights. The body points to a matte black color.

The bodywork obviously hides huge off-road tires. Also, McLaren has released a side profile teaser that reveals narrow windows as well as rear wheel arches that rise high. It is clear that the electric car has a large ground clearance. The racing XE could hint at what the future McLaren SUV will look like, provided it ever goes into series production.

There are no technical details yet. The Extreme E-SUV Odyssey 21 introduced in 2019 specifically for the Extreme E competition could be a guide to the new McLaren XE. The Odyssey 21 is powered by a 536 hp (400 kW) electric motor. Reaches 62 mph in 4.5 seconds.
