Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06

Chevrolet recently announced the arrival of the new Corvette C8 Z06. whose presentation is scheduled for October 26. On the eve of the world premiere of the Corvette Z06, Chevrolet released a short clip from the half-hour documentary ‘Putting The World On Notice’ announcing the continuation of the story.

In the 30-second clip, one can hear the sound of a V8 engine in a car with which Chevy wants to be side by side with the best. The new design of the front and wider body are just some of the changes, compared to previous models, which give the Z06 a more aggressive look.

Inside, the Z06 should retain the look of its predecessor with heated seats, a 12-inch digital cluster and a head-up display, but also with specific decals.

The Corvette Z06 will be powered by a 5.5-liter V8 engine with more than 600 hp (441 kW). It will use an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to transfer power to the rear wheels. It will reach 60 mph in less than 3 seconds. It will be driven on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires.

The new Corvette Z06 is expected to hit the market in 2023, marking the 60th anniversary of its first appearance in 1963.

2022 Range Rover

Land Rover announces the world premiere of its largest and most luxurious model, the 2022 Range Rover. The premiere of the fifth generation has been announced for October 26 this year.

From what can be seen in the photos, Land Rover engineers have followed an evolutionary approach when designing the bodywork, which will again be offered in a standard and extended edition. Among the details that emphasize the Land Rover tradition are without a doubt the characteristic horizontally divisible fifth doors.

The new generation of Land Rover SUV models will be built on the Jaguar Land Rover MLA platform and will be powered by petrol and diesel engines, and will also have a plug-in hybrid version. There’s primarily BMW’s 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine with 523 hp (385 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. The same engine is used by the BMW X5 and X7 models. It reaches 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. The engine is paired with an 8-speed shiftable automatic transmission that transmits power to all wheels.

The 2022 Range Rover will enter the battle for buyers looking for their luxury SUVs among models such as the BMW X7, Mercedes / Maybach GLS, Bentley Bentayga, Lexus LX, etc. The first units should appear in showrooms early next year.

Lexus LC 500 Black Inspiration

Lexus has introduced a new special edition of the sports Coupé, the LC 500 Black Inspiration. The sale will start at the end of next month, when the price will be announced.

The body of the new Lexus Coupé is painted black, which continues in the cabin made of beautiful materials. Sports seats will be offered as an option. A discreet carbon spoiler on the boot lid, new brakes, adaptive suspension and limited mechanical differential lock are standard on the Sport Plus package. It rides on 21-inch reinforced dark aluminum wheels.

The Lexus LC 500 Black Inspiration will be offered in two powertrain options, a 5.0-liter and a 3.5-liter hybrid. The first is a traditional 5.0-liter atmospheric V8 engine with 470 hp (346 kW) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a ten-speed automatic transmission. The LC 500 Black Inspiration reaches 62 mph in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 168 mph (270 km / h).

The economical hybrid version is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine assisted by an electric motor, with a total power of 359 hp (264 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with a CVT automatic transmission. It reaches 62 mph (100 km / h) in five seconds with a maximum electronically limited speed of 155 mph (250 km / h).
