2025 BYD Seal with more tech

In 2022, China’s largest manufacturer of electric cars introduced its second electric car, a mid-size sedan, the BYD Seal. Now a refreshed version of this model is coming to the market for the 2025 model year.

BYD improved the suspension, installed the latest generation of Disus-C adaptive shock absorbers for better stability, comfort and handling, improved safety. LiDAR is installed on the roof, which will improve semi-autonomous car driving systems, improved navigation and Autopilot, as well as automatic parking functions.

The interior has also undergone certain changes, such as a redesigned steering wheel, center console and dashboard, and there is a new glossy black panel that runs the entire width of the cabin.

The biggest change is the new 800-volt architecture instead of the previous 400-volt one. This shortened the charging time of the battery, which can now be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 25 minutes, instead of 37 minutes. The new Seal will be available with two batteries with a capacity of 61.44 and 80.64 kWh, and a range of 510 and 650 kilometers.

When it comes to the powertrain, the Seal will be powered by a single electric motor with 231 HP (172 kW) and RWD. More powerful variants with RWD will have 312 hp (230 kW). However, those looking for even better performance will be able to choose a model with two electric motors, 530 hp (390 kW) and AWD.

Tesla Model 3 with Liberty Walk LB E Works wide body kit

Japanese tuner Liberty Walk, known for upgrading Ferrari, Lamborghini and GTR cars, for its new project, chose the best-selling electric car ever, the Tesla Model 3. The tuner created a special body kit, Liberty Walk Tesla Model 3 LB E Works, which puts this car to a unique new level.

The body kit includes a front lip spoiler, rear wing, rear diffuser, side skirts and large wheel arch extensions, and all components are made of fiber reinforced plastic. All Tesla Model 3 owners who want to upgrade their car can order a body kit at a price of $7,920. The tuner did not change anything in the cabin of the car.

In previous years, we could see some of the interesting creations of this Japanese tuner who equipped cars like the legendary Ferrari F40, Lexus LX600 or Lamborghini Countach with a wide body kit. All of them were powered by ICE, and now it’s time for electric cars.

Range Rover Electric will be the first to use FSC-certified tyres

On the way to sustainable luxury, Jaguar Land Rover and Pirelli joined forces and created car tires with FSC certificate. These tires are made of natural and environmentally friendly materials, and the first car to have the honor of wearing them is the Range Rover Electric.

First all-electric Range Rover

The move fits in with JLR’s Reimagine strategy, which focuses on responsible sourcing. Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification ensures that the rubber comes from responsibly managed forests, and the entire process is monitored, from the plantation to the tire manufacturer.

“We are teaming up with Pirelli, a company that shares JLR’s sustainability ambitions and is at the forefront of sustainable tire manufacturing. We look at every aspect of our vehicles to find solutions that will allow us to redefine luxury in a way that is better for people and the planet. By choosing Pirelli tires with FSC certification, we offer our customers high-quality, high-performance tires while supporting responsible forest management and protecting communities in our tire supply chain, making real progress,” said Andrea Debanne, JLR’s director of sustainability.

Also, this is good news for customers who care about sustainability, as research has shown that 85 percent of those who know what FSC certification means prefer to choose products with this label.

“Innovation in materials and reliability in the sustainability features of our products are essential to us. FSCTM certification confirms that forests are managed in such a way as to preserve biological diversity, while at the same time local workers and communities benefit economically. We are delighted that JLR has decided to join our journey and became the first car manufacturer to use Pirelli tires with this certificate for a wide range of its vehicles,” said Matteo Battaini from Pirelli.

Jaguar Land Rover plans to use more than 250,000 of these tires annually.
