Upgraded Audi RS6 Avant

The Audi RS6 Avant is a supercar with outstanding performance. Pacific German and VF Engineering made an effort to turn it into a modified version with tremendous power.

With the Stage 3 upgrade package, the RS6 Avant is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with more than 1,000 hp (735 kW) and more than 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. It reaches 62 mph in 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 211 mph (340 kph).

The standard Audi RS6 Avant is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 591 hp (435 kW) and 590 lb-ft (435 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. It reaches 60 mph in 3.1 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph (306 kph).

RS6 Avant is equipped with a body kit that brings subtle aesthetic changes with a special foil. The car received a remapped ECU, Eventuri air intake system, upgraded intercoolers, TTE turbo, Akrapovic titanium exhaust system with oval exhaust pipe ends, new ABT Sportsline stabilizers and a 22-inch bronze wheel set.

The price of the upgraded Audi RS6 Avant has not been announced.

Is Audi taking over McLaren?

According to some reports, Audi is taking over McLaren, including the F1 team. This means that Audi could enter the world of the most prestigious car competition, Formula 1.

The news was published by Autocar, and fresh capital would be a good financial injection for McLaren. If Audi did take over the British company, it would own the entire group. That wouldn’t include the McLaren Applied Technology division that was sold last August to another investor. This would give Audi access to advanced technologies and motorsport, while McLaren would solve financial problems.

In an official statement, McLaren dismissed the information, saying: “McLaren’s technology strategy has always included talks and collaborations with relevant partners and suppliers, including other car manufacturers. But there is no change in the ownership structure of the McLaren Group.”

Audi has not yet commented on this announcement.

Mansory and MTM Audi RS6 Avant

Tuner collaboration isn’t a common case, but when it does, it’s usually about great projects. One such example is the collaboration between Mansory and MTM on the Audi RS6 Avant upgrade project, in which Mansory is in charge of the body kit while MTM is in charge of engine performance.

The performance of the base Audi RS6 Avant is impressive, but that was not enough for the tuners who increased the power of the car, which can still serve as a family vehicle.

The Mansory equipment kit brings a black body color with blue stripes on the sides and across the entire length of the vehicle, two spoilers (on the roof and rear doors), two pairs of exhaust pipes, two vents on the bonnet, numerous carbon components and aerodynamic improvements such as a massive front spoiler , which gives it a more aggressive look. It is equipped with black 22-inch wheels with larger blue brake calipers.

MTM’s well-done work can be seen on the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 820 hp (603 kW) and 861 lb-ft (1,167 Nm) of torque. This is a significant increase in power as the standard RS6 Avant has 591 hp (435 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph (330 km / h). Power is transmitted to all wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
