1998 Ferrari F355 Spider is up for auction

In the mid-90s, Ferrari unveiled a new sports car, the Ferrari F355 Spider. The car was produced between 1995 and 1999, and 3,717 units left the production line. One of them, a 1998 Ferrari F355 Spider, is up for auction.

The F355 Spider is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 engine with 375 hp (276 kW) and 268 lb-ft (363 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. It reaches 62 mph in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h). It is mounted on 18-inch five-spoke magnesium wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

This car is finished in Argento Nurburgring, has been well maintained and is in excellent condition. It is equipped with pop-up headlights, fog lights, an integrated tailgate spoiler, a Challenge-style rear grille, quad exhausts, a vented bonnet, door air intakes, rocker panels and Ferrari brake calipers mounted over vented discs at each corner.

Inside, the sports seats are upholstered in Nero leather, which can also be seen on the lower half of the dashboard, door panels and dashboard, while the steering wheel is wrapped in black leather. Additional equipment includes automatic climate control, an AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo, and drilled aluminum pedals. The clock shows 16,917 miles.

The car has a clean Carfax report that shows no accidents or other damage. It comes with removed hardware, service records, manufacturer’s literature and accessories and a clean California title.

The auction ends on December 28th and the current highest bid is $77,500 USD.

Modified 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera is up for auction

At a time when the price of used cars is increasing, many owners are trying to make extra profit by selling their cars. So, now we often see low-mileage or modified cars on the market, some of which fetch enormous prices. Such could be the case with this 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera that is being offered at auction.

This 911 Carrera has the body of the Carrera RS model and is powered by a 3.6L flat-six engine from 1990. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 915 five-speed manual transmission with a Sachs Power clutch kit and an external oil cooler. It is mounted on 17-inch Fuchs and RSR-style wheels wrapped in 225/45 (front) and 255/40 (rear) Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tires.

The car is finished in Glacier Blue with black RS-style graphics on the bonnet and on both sides, which makes it look remarkable. It is equipped with RS-style bumpers, black horn and decklid grilles, EB Motorsport ducktail fiberglass rear spoiler, bright window trim, H4 headlights with chrome trim rings, Euro-spec amber taillights, a chrome driver-side mirror, brake discs on all four wheel and Bilstein B6 shock absorbers.

Inside, the Recaro bucket seats are upholstered in black leather, which covers the door panels and dashboard. The MOMO Prototipo steering wheel is also wrapped in black leather, while the rear seats and radio have been removed. The clock shows 104,660 km.

This 911 Carrera is being offered on consignment by the selling dealer in Norway with Norwegian registration.

1957 Mercedes-Benz 190SL is up for auction

At the 1954 New York Auto Show Mercedes-Benz unveiled an attractive and more affordable alternative to the luxurious Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, the Mercedes-Benz 190SL. The car was produced between 1955 and 1963, and around 26k cars left the production lines. One of them, a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190SL, is up for auction.

The Mercedes-Benz 190SL is powered by a front-mounted 1.9L 4-cylinder-inline engine with 104 hp (77 kW) and 105 lb-ft (142 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual gearbox. It reaches 62 mph in 14.5 seconds with a top speed of 107 mph (173 km/h). It is mounted on steel 13-inch wheels wrapped in 185/80 Maxxis MA-1 tires.

This car is finished in light blue and has been completely restored. It is equipped with a newly replaced driver-side mirror, chrome trim, blue soft top, antenna, hood emblem, windshield wiper motor, exhaust tip, headlight housings, door moldings, seals for the windshield, trunk, and windows. Brake booster and booster line, master cylinder, brake reservoir, parking brake cable and brake lines, vacuum booster, wheel cylinders, shocks and front shock bushings, sway bar, control arms, tie rods, and strut rod were also replaced.

Inside, the seats are wrapped in red leather that also covers the dashboard and door panels. The interior was completely restored, which included the replacement of wiring harnesses for the steering column and dash, ignition switch and keys, cabin and trunk carpets, heater box and heater and defroster ducts, shift knob, horn button, headlight switch, dash knobs, and heater trim escutcheons, ashtray and door panel armrest trim, as well as seat adjusters. Additional equipment includes a side-facing kinder jump seat, an analog clock, a rearview mirror and a retro-style push-button radio. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 89 miles.

The car comes with a copy of the build sheet, manufacturer’s literature, refurbishment records and photographs, spare parts, and a clean Florida title. No Carfax report.
