Leapmotor C10 AWD: The 585-Horsepower EV SUV Set to Electrify Zurich Auto Show

Leapmotor is turning heads again with the unveiling of its latest electric SUV, the C10 Design 81.9kWh AWD, a high-performance variant poised to redefine expectations for the segment. Making its live debut at the Zurich Auto Show this October, the C10 AWD marks a bold step forward in the Chinese automaker’s ambition to push the envelope of next-gen electric mobility.

Designed for drivers who crave power, control, and versatility, the C10 AWD delivers a compelling blend of dynamic performance and cutting-edge technology. Built on Leapmotor’s advanced 800V electrical architecture, the SUV integrates a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system capable of an exhilarating 585 horsepower, propelling the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds.

But brute strength isn’t the only headline here. The C10 AWD is engineered for real-world conditions, where intelligent energy management adapts seamlessly to your environment—be it slick urban streets, icy alpine roads, or loose gravel terrain. The vehicle’s smart AWD system continuously monitors surface grip, ensuring instantaneous torque distribution and maximum stability at all times.

Charging anxiety also takes a back seat. Thanks to its specialized LFP battery and ultra-efficient 800V system, the C10 AWD can fast-charge from 30% to 80% in just 22 minutes, even in freezing temperatures—without the need for preheating. This cold-weather readiness places it among the most versatile and user-friendly EVs in its class.

Comfort and efficiency remain central to Leapmotor’s approach. Despite its sports car-like performance, the C10 AWD maintains a smooth, quiet ride, underpinned by next-generation design and a focus on long-distance range and charging convenience.

With its show-stopping stats and futuristic engineering, the Leapmotor C10 AWD isn’t just another electric SUV—it’s a declaration of where electric performance is headed. As anticipation builds for its live appearance in Zurich, it’s clear Leapmotor has delivered a vehicle that’s ready not just for the roads—but for the spotlight.

2026 Leapmotor C10 REEV with a range of 950 km

At the 2023 Munich Motor Show, Chinese company Leapmotor unveiled its new mid-size crossover SUV, the C10. It is the first car developed after Stellantis formed a joint venture with Leapmotor, and the Chinese company is announcing the arrival of a new version of this model, the Leapmotor C10 REEV with a range of almost 1,000 km.

The Leapmotor C10 REEV is a special variant of the C10, which is already on sale in the Netherlands, and will make its debut at the Brussels Motor Show. It will be just the beginning of an expansion to other European markets where Stellantis expects good results.

The car is powered by a single electric motor with 215 hp (158 kW) combined with a 1.5-L gasoline engine. It is equipped with a 28.4 kWh battery that allows a range of 145 kilometers, which is equivalent to many of the latest generation plug-in hybrid cars, but now the total range has been increased to 950 kilometers. The petrol engine acts as a generator, producing electricity, charging the battery and increasing the range. The battery is charged in just 18 minutes thanks to a 65 kW charger. It should also be noted that fuel consumption is very low, only 0.4 l/100 km.

In Europe, the car is currently only available in the Netherlands at a price of 39,050 euros.

2025 Leapmotor B10 SUV

At the Paris Motor Show, the Chinese company Leapmotor presented its new SUV, the Leapmotor B10. It will arrive on the European market at the end of 2024 and is expected to cost less than 30,000 euros.

Sleek in design, the B10 looks like a combination of the C10 and Porsche Cayenne at first glance, with simple body lines, thin light bars at the ends of the front end and flat door handles. Photos of the car’s interior have not been released, and some believe it is a minimalist design with large screens on the dashboard, which is standard in new EVs.

The B10 is the third car from the Chinese manufacturer to come to the European market, after the T03 and SUV C10. It will be built on the LEAP 3.5 platform and will be offered as an all-electric version and an extended-range version equipped with a 1.5-L engine.

Details about the car are few, but what the company has said is that the B10 will be equipped with advanced driver assistance systems, a customizable digital cockpit and smart connectivity.
