Ferrari 296 GTB with Carbon Fiber Wide Body

In 2021, Ferrari presented a powerful hybrid car with outstanding performance, the Ferrari 296 GTB. However, for those who want more, the Taiwanese tuner Zacoe has prepared a special body kit that makes this car even better.

Zacoe equipped Ferrari 296 GTB with carbon components such as front splitter, side skirts, accentuated rear spoiler, rear diffuser extension, wide fenders with integrated air vents. This body kit is called 296 GTZ (Gran Turismo di Zacoe) and resembles the classic 250 LM.

The tuner equipped the car with an upgraded suspension and a set of slightly larger tires. The 296 GTZ can also be used for the Ferrari 296 Spider.

There were no changes under the hood. Ferrari 296 GTB is powered by a 3.0-liter biturbo V6 engine combined with an electric motor with a total power of 819 hp (602 kW) and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h). The engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The electric motor is powered by a 7.45 kWh battery that produces enough power for a range of 16 miles (25 kilometers).

Mansory Tempesta based on the Ferrari 296 GTB

Two years ago, Ferrari presented a new hybrid car that has found its place above the F8 Tributo, the Ferrari 296 GTB. A powerful supercar that delivers outstanding performance, but there are always those who feel they can make it better, like tuner Mansory who introduced the Mansory Tempesta based on the Ferrari 296 GTB.

Mansory Tempesta is powered by a 3.0-liter biturbo V6 engine combined with an electric motor with a total power of 870 hp (640 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. A significant increase in power was achieved thanks to ECU modifications and a sport exhaust system with sport cats. As a reminder, the standard 296 GTB has 819 hp (602 kW) and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm) of torque. The Tempesta hits 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, 0.1 second faster than the 296 GTB. Top speed is the same, 205 mph (330 km/h). Power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The aggressive design really suits the Italian supercar. A new forged carbon fiber front fascia, front splitter, forged carbon wings on the front fenders, new side mirrors and dramatic thresholds, impressive rear applications with rear diffusor, spoiler and winglets, are some of the aerodynamic parts that adorn the exterior of this car. It’s mounted on a set of 21″ and 22″ YT.5 fully forged light weight wheels wrapped in 255/30R21 front and 335/25R22 rear tires.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in yellow leather that also covers the door panels, dashboard and center console. There are also new floor mats, additional carbon details and a series of red details around the air vents and cup holders.

Mansory did not reveal the price of the upgrade, but we will have more information soon.

Ferrari 296 GTB with impressive acceleration

In the middle of last year, Ferrari introduced the 296 GTB model with a V6 engine. It is a hybrid car that has found its place above the F8 Tributo. Now, the guys from the YouTube channel Motorsport Magazine in a short video have shown the acceleration of this supercar.

The 296 GTB is powered by a 3.0-liter biturbo V6 engine with 654 hp (481 kW) and an electric motor with 165 hp (121 kW), for a total of 819 hp (602 kW) and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm ) of torque. With a weight of 1,470 kg (3241 lbs) it reaches 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds, 124 mph (200 km / h) in 7.3 seconds with a top speed of more than 205 mph (330 km / h). Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The car is equipped with a 7.45 kWh battery that produces enough power for a range of 16 miles (25 kilometers).

On the road, they reached a speed of 292 km / h (182 mph), which is not the top speed that this car can reach. The start up of the V6 engine was impressive, which surprised even the visitors of the YouTube channel.

The exterior of the Ferrari 296 GTB is similar to the SF90 model, but also to the racing Ferrari models from the 60s. The car features large side vents, an active rear spoiler that ensures better traction when driving at higher speeds.

Inside, in the center is a digital interface with most of the instruments concentrated on the driver’s side. Two seats of perfect workmanship which, with the instrument panel and steering wheel, complete the interior design.
