Mercedes AMG EQE53 and EQE43

Electrification of Mercedes vehicles continues with the recently introduced AMG models, EQE53 and EQE43. The Affalterbach company has made an effort to offer Mercedes electric models with a lot of potential.

Both models share design with other EQE models, and are equipped with adjustable suspension, 90.6 kWh battery pack that provides a range of 321 miles (518 kilometers), as well as optional carbon-ceramic brakes that ensure a safe stop and are a good option for the vehicle which weighs over 2.5 tons.

The Mercedes-AMG EQE53 and EQE43 are powered by two electric motors with different numbers of horsepower. The Mercedes-AMG EQE53 has 625 hp (460 kW) and 701 lb-ft (950 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 137 mph (220 km / h). If you want more power, there is an optional Dynamic Plus package that delivers 677 hp (498 kW) and 738 lb-ft (1,001 Nm) of torque, available in a limited time. In this case, the car reaches 62 mph in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 149 mph (240 km / h).

The smaller version, the EQE43, has 476 hp (350 kW) and 633 lb-ft (858 Nm) of torque. That’s enough power to reach 62 mph in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph (210 km / h).

The arrival of the Mercedes-AMG EQE53 and EQE43 is expected in a few months, and the EQE43 will not be offered in the US market.

Brabus 800

Another model from the Brabus collection of modified cars. It is a Brabus 800 model, based on the Mercedes-AMG E63 S.

To overcome the challenges ahead, Brabus had to deal with car aerodynamics. The body is made of carbon fiber with a striking front spoiler and large air intakes located on the bumpers, while the 90 mm tailpipes are made of titanium-carbon. To increase driving stability, an air suspension has been installed.

The interior is upholstered in the finest materials available in a variety of colors. The seats are upholstered in black Alcantara leather with white seams, the inserts are made of wood and carbon and there are also sporty aluminum pedals, which completes the comfortable sporty look of this supercar.

What Brabus is best at is improving engine performance. Under the hood is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 800 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the BRABUS PowerXtra B40S-800 upgrade, the Brabus 800 reaches 62 mph in 2.9 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 196 mph (315 km / h). The engine is paired with a nine-speed SPEEDSHIFT transmission, with all-wheel drive.

The Brabus 800 comes with 21-inch wheels at the front and 22-inch forged wheels at the back. Thanks to the Brabus Sport Unit, the driver has the ability to lower the height of the car by 0.4 – 0.8 inches depending on the driving mode, Comfort or Sport.

Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series With 1,111 HP

The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is a new Opus project. As if the standard model and all its upgrades were not enough, Opus decided to go further and take this Black Series model to a higher level.

It is a model with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 1,111 hp. As a reminder, the standard Mercedes AMG GT delivers 456 hp. All this has been achieved thanks to better turbochargers, a modification of the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and the addition of specially forged pistons, and a modification of the fuel system.

There is also a slightly cheaper performance kit, thanks to which the GT Black Series has 1,001 hp.

In order to achieve maximum traction, Opus limited torque to a minimum. Custom light wheels as well as a range of aerodynamic accessories are also available.

Opus Workshop

Both models will be available in June, and 825 hp and 920 hp performance packages will be available in April.
