Porsche 911 GT3 Lëtzebuerg Legacy

A blend of national pride, artistic expression, and Porsche engineering prowess has culminated in a singular automotive masterpiece: the Porsche Lëtzebuerg Legacy 911 GT3 with Touring Package. Commissioned to mark 75 years of Porsche Luxembourg, one of the brand’s earliest international importers, this bespoke vehicle was unveiled at an exclusive customer event on June 28.

Crafted through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch (special request) program and in collaboration with Luxembourg artist Jacques Schneider, the project honors the enduring relationship between the German marque and the Grand Duchy. The result is far more than a car—it’s a cultural statement on wheels.

The Art of Personalization

From its hand-painted Fire Red lion graphic overlaying Ice Gray Metallic bodywork to the meticulously embroidered Luxembourg national anthem on the headliner, nearly every element of this GT3 tells a story.

“This project pushed the boundaries of what we do,” said Alexander Fabig, Vice President Individualization and Classic at Porsche. “Our experts created never-before-seen design features that honor Luxembourg’s heritage while staying true to the understated elegance Porsche is known for.”

The lion motif, a proud emblem of Luxembourg, appears both on the car’s exterior—across the hood, doors, and even the fuel filler cap—and subtly throughout the cabin. Discreetly printed leather panels, aluminum seat backs with white “Vive” lettering, and illuminated ‘Porsche Lëtzebuerg’ door sills in Schneider’s own handwriting elevate the interior to the level of high art.

Under the Skin: A Pure GT3 Experience

The car is based on the 911 GT3 with Touring Package, a driver-focused variant that forgoes the fixed rear wing in favor of a more refined silhouette and a retractable rear spoiler with Gurney flap. Beneath its striking skin lies a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six, delivering 510 hp (375 kW) and 450 Nm of torque. True to GT3 form, the powertrain promises spine-tingling performance and razor-sharp responsiveness.

Despite the extensive customization, the model retains all of the GT3’s track-honed DNA—only now, it’s wrapped in an extraordinary artistic vision.

An Homage in Every Detail

More than 700 hours of work went into the vehicle’s exterior paint job alone, making it the most labor-intensive finish ever created under the Sonderwunsch banner. The red lion—a recurring symbol in Schneider’s artwork—was applied by hand in over 20 separate steps.

Other details speak directly to Luxembourgish identity. The words “Vive Vive Vive”, short for Vive Luxembourg, are laser-etched into the GT3’s 20- and 21-inch alloy wheels, subtly contrasting against the Graphite Gray surface. The same phrase appears in bold lettering on the car’s underbody—visible only on display, making it a hidden message of national pride.

The interior continues the tribute: Schneider’s own handwriting was digitized to embroider an excerpt from the national anthem, paired with the outline of the Grand Duchy itself. The headliner, finished in Racetex, represents the first time such personalization has been attempted in a Porsche production car.

Past, Present, and Future of Porsche in Luxembourg

Operated by the Losch Group, Porsche Luxembourg has been an official importer since 1950, with roots going back even further to 1948, when Martin Losch began building the automotive legacy. Over decades, the company has evolved into one of Luxembourg’s leading mobility providers, with 13 retail operations and a comprehensive approach to modern transportation.

“This car is more than a collector’s piece,” said Tom Weber, Brand Manager of Porsche Luxembourg. “It’s a symbol of trust, innovation, and shared values between Porsche and the people of Luxembourg. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created together.”

An Icon Reimagined

As a product of both German engineering precision and Luxembourgish cultural richness, the Porsche Lëtzebuerg Legacy 911 GT3 exemplifies how tradition and innovation can coexist. It speaks to collectors, enthusiasts, and patriots alike—a truly one-of-a-kind creation that bridges performance and identity.

With this latest Sonderwunsch project, Porsche doesn’t just celebrate an anniversary—it redefines what it means to personalize an icon.

Porsche and Ferragamo Unite for a Stylish Tribute to Italian Craftsmanship

Two iconic brands merge precision engineering with haute couture to celebrate 40 years of Porsche Italia.

In a celebration of heritage, style, and craftsmanship, Porsche Italia has teamed up with storied Italian fashion house Ferragamo to launch two exclusive, limited-edition models commemorating its 40th anniversary. Based on the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS and the electric Taycan 4S, these special vehicles reflect the shared values of both brands: timeless design, attention to detail, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

This unique collaboration brings together the automotive artisans at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and the refined vision of Ferragamo’s designers. At the heart of both vehicles is a rich new signature color: Blusogno. Inspired by a hue found in Ferragamo’s fashion archives, Blusogno represents a fusion of German engineering and Italian elegance, extending across exterior paint, interior leather, and even the finely hand-painted wheels.

The aesthetic journey continues inside, where Blusogno-colored leather – specially developed for the project – wraps around the seats, steering wheel, and center console. Elegant Pebble Gray piping and red accents add subtle contrast, while the dashboard and center panels are adorned with Paldao wood, uniquely dyed in blue – a first for Porsche. In the 911, the passenger-side dashboard is enhanced with an aluminum inlay featuring the commemorative “40 Anni Porsche Italia” logo, also echoed in the Taycan’s center console.

Designers from both brands collaborated closely throughout the project, with teams exchanging visits between Porsche’s Zuffenhausen headquarters and Ferragamo’s Florentine home. Drawing on the fashion brand’s legacy, Porsche engineers integrated signature details: hand-painted white fine lines inspired by Ferragamo design motifs glide across the car’s bodywork, and a white-illuminated Ferragamo logo graces the aluminum door sills.

Commemorative plaques on the B-pillars mark the collaboration with the years 1985 and 2025, celebrating Porsche Italia’s four-decade presence in the country. Even the keys and indoor car covers received bespoke treatment in Blusogno, a testament to the exhaustive attention to detail both brands uphold.

“This project is a tribute to our shared heritage and values,” said Pietro Innocenti, CEO of Porsche Italia. “We wanted to create something truly unique that embodies Porsche’s style, combined with Italian culture and aesthetics.”

Leonardo Ferragamo, Chairman of Salvatore Ferragamo, echoed the sentiment: “Porsche is already perfect. Our contribution was to enhance the details, creating an authentic and meaningful synergy rooted in dreaming—just as my father, the ‘shoemaker of dreams,’ always did.”

A standout detail in the 911 and Taycan interiors is the SportChrono clock, which subtly incorporates the Italian Tricolore – green, white, and red – into its dial. It’s a nod not just to the nation Porsche Italia calls home, but to a partnership that blends tradition with innovation.

With only a limited number of units available exclusively in Italy, these two models are a rare convergence of automotive and fashion artistry – a testament to the timeless appeal of both Porsche and Ferragamo.

Taycan Turbo GT Goes Beast Mode, Sets New EV Track Records

The electric vehicle performance wars are heating up, and Porsche is not backing down. Just days after the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra made headlines for setting a new production EV record on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Porsche has responded with a powerful message: the Taycan Turbo GT still rules the track.

Xiaomi’s recent triumph saw the SU7 Ultra dethrone Porsche with a blistering lap around the Nürburgring, shaking up the EV world. But as anyone familiar with German automotive culture knows, Porsche doesn’t relinquish records easily. With renewed determination, the Stuttgart-based automaker has fired back, establishing new benchmarks at two world-renowned racetracks.

At Road Atlanta in Georgia, Porsche enlisted veteran driver Patrick Long to pilot the Taycan Turbo GT. The result: a record-smashing lap time of 1:27.1 minutes on the 4.088-kilometer circuit—over six seconds faster than the previous Taycan Turbo S record set in 2020. Across the globe in Abu Dhabi, at the Yas Marina Circuit, Formula 1 driver Ramez Azzam clocked 2:07.2 minutes under the floodlights, just 1.1 seconds off the touring car record, a remarkable feat considering the desert heat necessitated a nighttime run.

Both of these record-setting performances were achieved using the Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package, Porsche’s most extreme road-going EV yet. Pushing out over 1,100 horsepower in Attack mode, the Weissach variant benefits from Porsche’s cutting-edge Active Ride suspension and a meticulous lightweight design, shedding 75 kilograms compared to the Taycan Turbo S.

These new records are part of a growing list for the Taycan Turbo GT, which has already laid claim to fastest EV laps at Interlagos, Shanghai International Circuit, Laguna Seca, and—until recently—the Nürburgring itself, with a stunning 7:07.5-minute lap, a full 26 seconds quicker than the previous best.

While Xiaomi may hold the Nürburgring crown for now, Porsche’s multi-track dominance underscores the brand’s relentless pursuit of performance and innovation. As EVs continue to evolve, one thing is certain: the battle for supremacy is far from over—and Porsche is not done racing.
