Rolls-Royce Spectre upgraded by Mansory

Mansory is a wizard in modifying high-end luxury cars, and now it has prepared special equipment for the ultra-luxury coupe Rolls-Royce Spectre.

Rolls-Royce introduced the Spectre model two years ago as a car that many consider a modern version of the Rolls-Royce Wraith. However, Rolls-Royce does not think so. “It’s not in any way the successor of the Wraith. It’s a different proposition for our clients. It will feel very different, it will look very different. We will go from combustion engines straight into electric when we substitute certain positions in our portfolio, “and that is the way forward,” said Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes at the beginning of 2022.

At first glance, the Spectre is no different from the standard model. However, the new carbon equipment kit brings an ultra-light hood, a front bumper with a new splitter, accessories around the intakes, a set of thin LED daytime running lights, a blacked-out front fascia, massive side grilles with fake intakes and sports side skirts with integrated wings. At the rear, there is a large diffuser, a carbon bumper, an optional third brake light in the style of Formula 1, a discreet roof spoiler and a more prominent lip spoiler on the edge of the trunk lid. Mansory claims the changes increase downforce on the rear axle.

Inside, the adjustable seats are covered in a combination of black and orange leather, while orange leather also covers the center console, the lower part of the dashboard, and the three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. Black leather covers the upper part of the dashboard and the armrest, and there are also a lot of carbon parts.

Under the bonnet are two electric motors with a total power of 585 hp (430 kW) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. That’s enough to push the 5.45 meter long Coupé to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). With one battery charge, the car has a range of 335 to 640 kilometers. It is mounted on a set of 23-inch FD.15 tires, and 24-inch rims with 295/30 R24 tires are also an option.

Rolls-Royce Spectre passed 2.5 million kilometers of testing

Rolls-Royce Spectre is the first electric car of the British manufacturer, and the company announced that during testing several examples traveled a total of almost 2.5 million kilometers.

This ultra-luxurious EV Coupé is considered by many to be a modern version of the Rolls-Royce Wraith. However, Rolls-Royce does not think so. “It’s not in any way the successor of the Wraith. It’s a different proposition for our clients. It will feel very different, it will look very different. We will go from combustion engines straight into electric when we substitute certain positions in our portfolio, ” and that is the way forward,” said Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes at the beginning of 2022.

Rolls-Royce is proud to say that demand for the Spectre is beyond expectations, so they had to change the plan on the number of examples that will be produced. The first deliveries of the ultra-luxury EV to customers are scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre will be powered by two electric motors with a total power of 585 hp (430 kW) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. That’s enough to push the 5.45 meter long Coupé to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). With one battery charge, the car has a range of 335 to 640 kilometers.

Rolls-Royce Spectre EV rendering

A few months ago Rolls-Royce decided to stop the rumors and announce to the world that it is in the process of producing its first electric coupe, the Spectre EV. It was a historic step forward for the company that announced the electric novelty earlier through the 102EX and 103EX concepts.

Specter is expected in the second half of this year, and Rolls-Royce is rapidly working on a replacement for the Wraith model without carbon emissions. The model has been spotted several times during testing when it was protected by camouflage, with the exception of just a few parts of the car.

Based on spy photos, the Russian magazine Kolesa made renderings that hint at the appearance of the Specter model, reminiscent of the modern version of the Wraith. However, Rolls-Royce does not think so. “It’s not in any way the successor of the Wraith. It’s a different proposition for our clients. It will feel very different, it will look very different. We will go from combustion engines straight into electric when we substitute certain positions in our portfolio,” and that is the way forward, “said Rolls-Royce CEO, Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes.

When it comes to powertrain, rumors say it will use electric motors from the upcoming BMW iX M60. It is powered by a two electric motors with a total power of 619 hp (455 kW) and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) in Sport Mode with activated Launch Control and an M specific suspension set-up. It will reach 62 mph in 3.8 seconds with a maximum electronically limited speed of 155 mph (250 km / h).
