Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG

When Bernd Schneider won the DTM Championship in 2003, Mercedes produced the CLK DTM AMG model in honor of the victory.

The convertible and Coupe versions of this car were produced from 2004 to 2006. One of the 100 produced Coupes will be on sale.

Auction house RM Sotheby’s announced that the Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG will be auctioned on May 22.

It is a car powered by a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine with 582 HP and 800 Nm of torque. Thanks to the automatic SpeedShift 5G-Tronic transmission and rear-wheel drive, the CLK DTM AMG reaches 62 mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 200 mph (322 km / h).

For better handling and stability, an adjustable suspension is installed and the rear axle is reinforced. The front grille, larger intake manifolds, wider wheel arches are just some of the accessories that adorn the exterior of this Mercedes.

Inside, there are sports seats upholstered in Alcantara leather, carbon details and a steering wheel inspired by the DTM.

Brabus B45 costs $ 106,000

In January, Brabus introduced the upgraded AMG A45 S model, and now we know its price. The price of the Brabus B45 model in Germany is € 89,131, which makes it more expensive than the BMW M3 model (€ 82,500).

A better version of the Mercedes-AMG A45 appeared seven years ago. Now Brabus has upgraded the new AMG A45 S model. The powerful hatchback was already a production car with the most powerful production four-cylinder engine. However, that did not stop Brabus engineers from extracting more power from the 2.0-liter engine.

Although the base AMG A45 S develops 416 hp and 500 Nm of torque, after the work of Brabus engineers, engine power has been increased to 444 hp and 550 Nm. The tuned model accelerates from 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds, and the electronic speed limit of 168 mph has not been changed either. Brabus offers a three-year warranty or 100,000 kilometers on engine reliability.

The interior of the car has undergone minor changes. The seats are upholstered in leather. The suspension of the B45 is 30 mm lower than the AMG A45 S. There are aluminum pedals, velor floor mats and illuminated panels. The car also has 20-inch Brabus Monoblock wheels with Continental tires.

BMW M2 With 741 HP

While BMW is testing the new generation Coupé M2 model, German tuning company Lightweight Performance has decided to upgrade the BMW M2 (F87 Series).

The BMW M2 Competition has a 4-liter six-cylinder biturbo engine that delivers 410 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. With a top speed of 174 mph it reaches 62 mph in just 4.4 seconds.

To increase the performance of the outgoing BMW M2 (F87 Series), Lightweight Performance engineers increased engine power to 741 hp and 649 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is installed for faster power transmission to the rear axle.

Increasing performance also required additional interventions. To increase stability and handling, the car’s weight has been reduced and the suspension strengthened. Eibach forged 19-inch Titan 7 wheels and an M Performance braking system have been added.

Inside, there are heated Alcantara leather seats with M2 logos and a steering wheel covered in Alcantara leather. The roof, hood, fenders and three-piece front spoiler are made of carbon, as is the rear spoiler.

Upgrade prices have not been announced.
