2025 Audi S3

In 2020, Audi revealed the latest generation of the sports model S3 (8Y), and four years later, a redesigned edition of the C-segment car arrived on the market, the Audi S3.

Customers will still be able to choose between two versions of the body, which will be offered in combination with four new colors. It is equipped with a wider one-piece grille that is positioned lower, a redesigned front spoiler with larger air intakes and a redesigned rear spoiler. Quad titanium tailpipes, suspension with adaptive dampers, and 19-inch wheels with 235/35 tires are optional.

Inside, the dark cabin is equipped with premium materials such as leather covering the sports front seats with integrated headrests and a multifunction steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and aluminum door handles.

What many are most interested in is the powertrain. Under the bonnet is still a 2.0L four-cylinder turbo petrol engine with 333 hp (248 kW) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque. That’s more than its predecessor, which has 310 hp (231 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all wheels (quattro) via an upgraded 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (S tronic). It reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds (0.2 seconds faster than its predecessor), with an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

BMW agreed on a partnership with Rimac Technology

Mate Rimac posted on his Facebook profile that Rimac Technology and BMW Group have reached an agreement on a long-term partnership. This represents a milestone and the biggest and most ambitious project the company has had so far.

Rimac Technology manufactures electric drive systems and battery systems for global car manufacturers, and will now develop and manufacture high-voltage battery systems for BMW Group vehicles, which will be used in future models.

“For me, it all started with a BMW from 1984, which I started to convert to electric drive in 2008. At that time, it was my dream to work for BMW. This collaboration marks a key moment in the growth of Rimac Technology and is a clear sign of the transition from a high performance product provider for small series models (like Aston Martin Valkyrie, Pininfarina Battista, Rimac Nevere etc.) to a high capacity manufacturer for projects like this one with the BMW Group,” said Rimac.

Rimac Gropu is constantly growing. They recently opened Rimac Campus, showing that they are ready to deliver large projects for leading brands in the automotive industry. The project with the BMW Group is just one in a series, and the company says that talks about other similar projects are ongoing.

“Today, we are not only working with BMW, but together we are creating the future of their electric models – in Croatia, where battery systems for future BMW models have been developed and produced for the last two years, and now it has become public. A large part of the Campus is specifically intended for the production of batteries for BMW, which, together with other agreed deals, fully exploits it (we already lack space and are planning a new factory). It is not only the biggest deal in our history, but perhaps the biggest contract in the history of the country (at least I couldn’t find a bigger one),” Rimac wrote.

1960 Porsche 356B Roadster sold for $235,000 USD

Between 1959 and 1963, Porsche produced the second iteration of the 356, the Porsche 356B. 30,963 cars left the production line, of which 2,902 were Roadsters and one of them, a 1960 Porsche 356B Roadster was recently sold for $235,000 USD.

This 356B Roadster is powered by a replacement 1.9 912-sourced flat-four engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. At the beginning of the year, a service was done at OTTO Werks, which included adjusting the valves, replacing the valve cover gaskets, and changing the oil.

The car was refurbished between 2007 and 2011, and at that time the body was repainted in black, and the interior was reupholstered in red leather by Autos International in Escondido, California. It is equipped with revised front-end styling, including raised bumpers and headlights along with a redesigned front trunk lid handle, and finned drum brakes at each corner. The five-digit odometer reads 1,694 miles.

This beautiful example of a Porsche 356B Roadster is mounted on a set of 15″ vented steel wheels wrapped in Vredestein Sprint Classic tires.

Along with the car, the buyer received a Porsche certificate of authenticity showing the original colors and powertrain numbers, a copy of the Kardex, the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, and a clean Arizona title.
