Opel Mokka Electric with a range of 406 km

In order to attract a larger number of new potential customers and retain existing ones, Stellantis‘ first move is to increase the range of existing and new cars. One of them is the 2023 Opel Mokka Electric with a range of 406 km.

The Mokka Electric is powered by a more powerful front-mounted electric motor with 154 hp (115 kW) and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm) of torque. That should propel the car to 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than 10 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 93 mph (150 km/h).

The Peugeot E-308 was presented in September, while the Astra Electric arrived in November, and both models have a 54 kWh battery. With a usable capacity of 51 kWh, the Mokka Electric now has a 20 percent longer range. Using a 100kW DC fast charger, the battery is charged to 80 percent in about 30 minutes. Also, energy consumption was reduced to 15.2 kWh per 100 kilometers traveled.

It should also be noted that Opel recorded an increase in demand for its cars, especially the Mokka, which was the best-selling electric car in its category in Germany in the past two months.

Renault will offer the GENR5 collection with 1972 NFTs

Renault has announced its entry into the NFT (non-fungible token) market in honor of the 50th anniversary of the legendary Renault 5. It will happen on the 15th of December when it will present the genR5 collection of 1972 tokens. It is the first project with which the brand pays tribute to the creation of the cult model of the 70s.

Each of the 1,972 NFTs available for sale is designed as a 9-second video about the Renault 5, accompanied by an exclusive cover, dynamic lighting and sound effects. The genR5 collection was inspired by four iconic versions of the Renault 5 model.

NFT will be allocated randomly and will only be visible after purchase. It will also give customers access to special benefits. First-time NFT buyers who pay with a bank card as well as those who pay with cryptocurrency will be able to afford NFTs from this collection at the same price.

Also, NFT owners will be able to participate in the creation of The Originals collectibles which will then be available in an exclusive limited edition.

2023 Donkervoort F22

Dutch company Donkervoort Automobielen BV unveiled its new ultra-light two-seater, the Donkervoort F22. It is a limited edition that continues the story of the previous model D8 GTO, which is shaping the future and carrying the heritage.

The car sets new standards in speed, handling, driving purity, design and everyday usability. It is based on a tubular steel-aluminum chassis, which does not lose grip in turns even with a force of 2.15G. It is equipped with a removable Twin Targa carbon-fibre roof, hydraulic ride-height adjustment, active suspension and a new brake system. It is mounted on Nankang 18 and 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in ARI 235/40 (front) and 275/35 (rear) tires.

The F22 is powered by a 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 500 hp (368 kW) and 472 lb-ft (640 Nm) of torque, which is enough to push the 750 kg car to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. , 124 mph (200 km/h) in 7.5 seconds with a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h). Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.

Inside, the cabin is adorned with Recaro seats with six-point harnesses. The Donkervoort F22 represents a real analogy in the digital world because the driver cannot count on the power steering system and brakes, and the only help to the independent suspension is the optional hydraulic system with which the car can be raised from the ground by an additional 35 millimeters.

Donkervoort F22 will be produced in only 75 copies, and the company announced that they sold the first 50 cars. The starting price is EUR 245,000, and deliveries will start at the beginning of next year.
