Lamborghini Diablo Restomod

Among the number of existing tuner and restomod companies, another one, Eccentrica Cars, was recently founded. The main goal of the company is the restoration and modification of exotic cars, especially Lamborghini Diablo cars.

The company’s first project is based on the Lamborghini Diablo, a car that arrived on the market at the end of the last century. It was produced until 2001, and 2,884 units left the production line.

The restoration included the installation of lighter carbon components in place of the original panels. New lights, tires, brakes, suspension elements and a newly developed exhaust system were installed, and the tubular steel chassis was significantly strengthened. All this in order to adapt the car to the new era. Colombini revealed that in the Diablo restomod project they relied on the best components offered by Pirelli, Brembo, Capristo, Marantz and Alcantara.

When it comes to the powertrain, the standard Lamborghini Diablo is powered by a 5.7 L V12 engine with 485 hp (362 kW) and 428 lb-ft (580 Nm) of torque. The company did not reveal whether the engine was reworked, but it said that power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed instead of a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Whether we will see better restomod cars in the future, because obviously there are still those who yearn for older models of super cars, remains to be seen.

Audi R8 with 830 HP

Audi R8 is the most expensive but also one of the most luxurious cars from the range of this German manufacturer. Also, it is one of the more desirable cars for tuners such as VF Engineering, which has prepared an equipment kit for all three versions of this model (R8 V10, R8 V10 RWS and R8 V10 Plus).

The main component of the system is an Eaton TVS2300 compressor with an air-water cooling system. The package can be combined with the 5.2-liter V10 engine without additional hardware modifications, making it fully reversible. The result is 830 hp (610 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque when using 91 octane fuel. There is also a slightly cheaper package that provides 800 hp (588 kW) and costs $31,995.

VF Engineering uses a sixth generation TVS2300 supercharger that comes with Eaton’s latest generation four-blade rotor. The compressor is connected to a water-cooled cast manifold with additional cooling provided by a separate water tank and heat exchangers not connected to the engine.

VF Engineering also offers a bright green body color, which will cost an additional $3,000.

Brabus 900 Rocket R

The Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe is one of the best models offered by the German brand. Aerodynamic, comfortable but also powerful, a machine that is fast on the track and on the road. It is extremely popular among tuners, and the German tuner company Brabus, master of high-end modifications, presented the Brabus 900 Rocket R based on this model.

The special “Widestar” body kit brings a host of carbon fiber components including a new front lip spoiler, new wheel arch vents, and a new rear diffuser. All components are optimized in the wind tunnel, and Brabus says the result is “a new level of aerodynamic efficiency”.

What most fans of Porsche cars are interested in is the engine. The car is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter flat-six engine with 900 hp (662 kW). The high-performance sports exhaust system is made of Inconel and contains electronically controlled valves, which enables better air flow. All this allows the car to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.5 seconds, which is impressive. Customers will be able to choose between an automatically or manually shifted eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to all wheels.

Brabus 900 Rocket R is equipped with five-spoke 22/21-inch BRABUS Monoblock P “Platinum Edition” wheels, carbon fiber aero-discs, BRABUS sports suspension, new coilover springs and fully adjustable shock absorbers.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in soft black leather that also covers the door panels, dashboard, and central console, while the headliner is upholstered in Alcantara. The artwork is completed by high-gloss carbon fiber elements on the central console, pedal pads made from anodized aluminum, carbon fiber door sill trims with an integrated LED backlit BRABUS logo.
