1990 Opel Kadett GSi for sale

The Opel Kadett is one of the legendary models, and one such great 1990 Opel Kadett GSi model, which was a rival to the Volkswagen Golf GTI, has been offered for sale.

Unlike modern hatchback models, the 1990 Kadett was a relatively small three-door car. The model shown in the photos is painted in dark green with silver rims. The car is in excellent condition with only 93,637 miles (150,695 km) and is located in the Netherlands.

The interior is upholstered in sleek black leather, and the driver has at his disposal an LCD cluster that was ahead of its time when the Kadett appeared. The original radio is still working.

The Kadett GSi is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 116 hp (85 kW). A 16V version with 150 hp (110 kW) and 145 lb-ft (196 Nm) of torque was also available at the time. With a weight of 940 kg, it reached 60 mph in 9 seconds with a top speed of 124 mph (200 km / h).

The Opel Kadett was produced between 1936 and 1940, 1962 and 1991 (1993 for the convertible). For a 31-year-old sales model, the owner is asking for $ 14,810 (€ 12,950).

Prank for Supercar Blondie

If you’re a fan of fast sports cars then you’ve probably heard of Australian Alex Hirschi better known as Supercar Blondie. The 36-year-old is a big fan of super sports cars with more than 30 million followers on social media, of which 7 million on YouTube.

While making a video for Lamborghini in a church square in Italy, the police came and stopped filming. They explained that it was forbidden to park in front of the church and handed over the fine. The penalty was postponed to the front windshield, and as the car does not have a license plate, they wrote “Lamborghini”.

Surprised by this situation, Alex apologized. However, this was the prank of someone from Lamborghini, who made a deal with the local police unit.

Supercar Blondie was making a video about the 2017 Lamborghini Terzo Millennio, which was created in collaboration with Lamborghini and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Toyota GR Supra with a 6-speed manual transmission

The news that the Toyota Supra GR will be offered in combination with a 6-speed manual transmission from next year is certainly good news for fans of the three pedals.

The Toyota GR Supra is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 255 hp (188 kW). According to some Japanese media reports, Toyota has decided to offer this model (eight-speed automatic transmission) with a 6-speed manual transmission. Thus, the recently introduced GR 86 will no longer be the only Coupé on offer from the Japanese carmaker, which can be purchased in combination with a manual transmission. This is no surprise, as BMW also offers the same option with the Z4 sDrive 20i model.

The more powerful GR Supra, which is still in the development and testing phase, has already been tested with a manual transmission. It is powered by BMW’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 340 hp (250 kW).

From Toyota comes the news that the Gazoo Racing department is also preparing the most powerful version of the Supra GRMN, which will be powered by an engine from the BMW M3 / M4. It is a TwinPower Turbo inline-6-cylinder engine with 510 hp (375 kW) that allows the car to reach 62 mph in 3.5 seconds.
