2025 Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro 4MATIC+

The Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro is a new powerful car from the German brand, which is intended for racetracks but is also road legal. With this car, Mercedes is trying to stay competitive with other brands like Porsche and its 911 GT3 RS.

The car is equipped with optimized active aerodynamics, improved cooling (engine, transmission and differential), carbon-ceramic brakes, tuned adaptive suspension, 420 mm brake discs, and the option of rear axle steering. The interior is equipped with profiled AMG Performance seats.

Under the bonnet is a 4.0-L biturbo V8 engine with 612 hp (450 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque, paired with AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G. That’s 27 horsepower and 50 Nm more than the standard version, which is enough to push the car to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph). The car is mounted on ultralight 21-inch rims with optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires (no extra charge).

The new Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro will definitely meet the requirements of even the most demanding drivers and provide an absolute racetrack feel.

Porsche Panamera is the fastest car on Nurburgring Nordschleife

The premiere of the new generation of the Porsche Panamera is approaching, and the current prototype is being tested on the world’s most famous track, the Nurburgring Nordschleife, on which it set the fastest lap time in the category of cars from the E-segment.

Porsche is still keeping the technical details of this car under wraps, but what we do know so far is that it is equipped with the Active Ride suspension, which was first introduced on the Panamera earlier this year. This prototype was fitted with a new optional carbon aerodynamic body kit, which included four-way adjustable Gurney spoilers for the rear wing. Porsche experts claim that the Gurney wing reduces the lift of the front part of the car and creates downforce, but the exact data is not specified. It was mounted on specially developed 21-inch Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

The Porsche Panamera covered the 20,830 km (12,943 mi) long track in 7:24.17, which is 5.64 seconds faster than the Panamera Turbo S, and three seconds faster than the previous record holder, the Mercedes-AMG GT63 S.

Lotus Evija X destroyed at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Another annual motorsports festival, the Goodwood Festival of Speed, has come to an end, where we saw the premieres of several new cars, as well as the Lotus Evija X’s attempt to set the fastest track time.

The Lotus Evija X is a limited edition super powerful electric car that set the third fastest lap time at the end of April on the most famous track in the world (Nurburgring Nordschleife). The 20,830 km (12,943 mi) long course Lotus Evija X finished in 6:24,047, which is slower than the Volkswagen ID.R (6:05.336) and the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo (5:19.546).

At this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, the British car manufacturer tried to set the fastest track time, but an accident occurred and the cause is currently unknown. Automotive journalist Harry Metcalfe believes that it could be a problem with computer software, which is very possible because even a small interruption of one of the four electric motors is enough to push the hypercar off the track. However, there is also a chance that the driver caused the accident by pressing the gas pedal more than he should have.

Lotus Evija X is powered by 4 electric motors, 1 placed at each wheel, with a total power of 2,011 hp (1,500 kW) and 1,257 lb-ft (1,704 Nm) of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under 3 seconds, from 0 to 300 km/h (190 mph) in 9.1 seconds, and achieve a limited top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph).
