Porsche has tested the durability and reliability of the recently unveiled new 911 GT3 model.
Porsche has always been committed to the durability and reliability of its cars. On the Italian Nardò track, Porsche tested the new GT3 model by driving it at full speed. During testing, the car covered 3,100 miles (5,000 kilometers) in less than 17 hours at a speed of 186 mph (300 km / h).
After 22,000 hours of testing, the 4-liter six-cylinder Porsche 911 GT3 engine proved to be durable, which was the goal of Porsche engineers. To achieve these results, the new 911 GT3 uses an oil system similar to race cars, as confirmed by Thomas Mader, a specialist in GT road engine engines at Porsche.
Although it is not more powerful than its predecessor, it is much faster and more durable. The top speed that this car can reach is 197 mph (317 km / h). The new GT3 showed its capabilities at the Nürburgring where it was 12 seconds faster than its predecessor.
