MANHART MH8 5.0 V8 Limited based on BMW 850i (E31)

One of the best tuners in the world and the best tuner of BMW cars, Manhart, presented his new project based on one of the best models from the end of the 20th century. These are five special restored examples of the BMW 850i (E31) model called MANHART MH8 5.0 V8 Limited.

The cars received a sports exhaust system that emphasizes the sound experience, upgraded chassis with H&R springs, Bilstein B6 shock absorbers, powerful 4-piston fixed callipers and perforated 340 millimeter brake discs on the front axle, and a new set of new 20″ Concave One alloy wheels wrapped in 255 /30R20 front and 295/25R20 rear Continental Sport Contact 7 tires.The rest includes sills taken from the 850 CSi model, rear lip spoiler and M side mirror housings.

The sports interior is covered in leather and now feature colored applications and stitching, while the BMW sports steering wheel, the gear lever and the handbrake have been finished in soft Alcantara.

Under the bonnet is a 5.0-liter V12 engine, from the E39 M5 model, with 420 hp (313 kW) paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels.

Manhart will produce only five examples of the MH8 V8 Limited model, and the example shown in the photos costs 149,000 euros.

BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition is up for sale

In 2022, the Schubert Motorsport team won the championship title, and in their honor BMW produced a special edition of the M4 DTM model, the BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition. It is a limited edition car and one example is for sale.

This M4 DTM Champion Edition is powered by a 3.0-L twin-turbo inline-six with 503 hp (375 kW), mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.

The bodywork is painted red, while the right front part and the left rear part are yellow, just like the car of the South African driver Shelden van der Linde, who was the 2022 DTM driver’s champion. There are white details with the number 31 on the front fenders, and black decals adorn the hood. The sills are painted black, the rear lip spoiler is a combination of yellow and black, while additional black details adorn the rear bumper.

Inside, the black sports seats are decorated with red details and the inscription “#31 SVL DTM Champion Edition” on the hearrest. There are plaques with the Schubert Motorsport logo and Van der Linde’s signature on the door sills, while a small plaque located on the center console contains the words “Hockenheim 1/9” and the silhouette of the track.

The car is located in Germany and the asking price is €169,900.

2025 BMW M4 CS

After the recently introduced new generation BMW M3, the new BMW M4 CS has arrived on the market. Lighter and more powerful than the Competition model, the new M4 CS will be road legal. Production will begin in July 2024, and it will cost 160,000 euros in Germany.

The new M4 CS is powered by a 3.0-L turbocharged six-cylinder engine with 550 hp (404 kW) @ 6,250 rpm and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque @ 5,950 rpm. Power is sent to all wheels (xDrive) via an 8-speed Steptronic transmission. With the adaptive drive, all the potential of the engine can be directed only to the rear axle. It accelerates from 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 302 km/h (188 mph).

Compared to the M4 Competition model, the M4 CS is equipped with additional carbon components, making it 20 kg lighter. It is mounted on 19″ and 20″ ultralight rims with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

On the world’s most famous circuit, the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the M4 CS was only 1.5 seconds slower than the limited edition version of the CSL. All customers who want to test their car on the track, BMW will offer special tires.
