Mansory Pugnator Tricolore Limited Edition

In September 2024, Mansory unveiled the Mansory Pugnator based on the Ferrari Purosangue, which received a lot of criticism from fans of the Italian brand. Now, from the workshop of the German tuning company comes the second version and one of the most interesting conversions ever, the Mansory Pugnator Tricolore. It will be produced in only 3 units.

The car is finished in the colors of the Italian flag and bears the number 03 on both sides with the inscription “Tricolore Edition”. It is equipped with a forged carbon fiber bodykit, which includes larger intakes on the front bumper that significantly increase downforce on the front axle, wheel arch extensions, fender vents, massive side grilles and fake rear door intakes. At the rear, there is a massive diffuser with four exhaust pipes, a rear grille and a double rear spoiler. There are also plenty of fins, creases and air intakes, giving the Pugnator a more aggressive look.

The luxurious cabin is made of premium materials and features a white color scheme combined with red and green accents on the seats, floor mats, doors, armrests, center console and dashboard. The seat backs feature a plaque with the words “Mansory Atelier” while the headrests feature an embroidered company name. A numbered plaque on the dashboard completes the car’s uniqueness.

Under the bonnet is a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine with 766 hp (560 kW) and 530 lb-ft (716 Nm) of torque. That’s significantly more power compared to the Purosangue, which has 715 hp (526 kW) and 528 lb-ft (716 Nm) of torque. The car sits on new 22″ and 23″ FC.5 one-piece forged wheels wrapped in high-performance tires.

The price of this limited edition car is not known.

2026 Ferrari 296 Speciale

The Ferrari 296 Speciale is the new supercar in the Italian brand’s fleet. It is the most powerful version of the 296 GTB model, which brings the best aerodynamic solutions of the Maranello-based company.

The 296 Speciale is equipped with lightweight carbon fiber components, modified suspension, reduced ground clearance, improved brakes, and a revised aerodynamic package that improves downforce by 20 percent. The interior is equipped with new seats and a variety of carbon accessories that further reduce the weight of the car by 5 kg.

When it comes to the powertrain, the Speciale is powered by a 3.0-L V6 engine combined with an electric motor for a total of 868 hp, which is more than the 296 GTB. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. It reaches 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 330 km/h. The company also claims that the Speciale has better and more precise handling.

Ferrari marketing chief Enrico Galliera said that the 296 Speciale will be very exclusive, and that the car will be offered to customers who have purchased a new or improved used car from authorized dealers in the last five years. It will be available in Coupe and Spider variants, and the price will range from 407,000 euros (Coupe) to 462,000 euros (Spider).

Ferrari is bringing back the manual gearbox

According to Carsales, Ferrari may bring back the manual transmission after 12 years. The manual transmission will appear in exclusive limited edition models, and the last Ferrari to be equipped with a manual transmission was the Ferrari California.

In an interview with Carsales, Ferrari’s head of product development, Gianmaria Fulgenzi, hinted that Ferrari could make such a move due to strong customer interest. This will also mean the return of engines with less torque, and the first model that could be equipped with a manual gearbox will be a future model from the Icona series, which will join the current Monza SP1, Monza SP2 and Daytona SP3.

“We will soon reach the performance limit with our cars. In Formula 1, it takes 2.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. With the SF90 XX, we are somewhere around 2.5 seconds or 2.4 seconds, and that’s with all-wheel drive. For an ordinary driver, such accelerations require that they are physically stronger, that is, that they have stronger neck muscles. Don’t think that all our customers want to train every morning just to be able to drive our cars,” said Fulgenzi.

Ferrari will not be the first to bring back or keep a manual transmission in its range. Porsche also recently announced that, if there is enough interest, it will offer a Carrera S with three pedals. It will be the third 911 to be offered in a combination of manual and automatic transmissions.
