Ford Fiesta with several new equipment kits

Three years ago, Ford introduced the eighth generation Fiesta for the European market. Now it reveals a redesigned model of one of the most popular European cars from the B segment.

The new Fiesta will be offered in several equipment packages, and will come standard with LED lights in dark cases. The lights will be combined with adaptive matrix technology in more expensive versions. Each of the equipment packages will offer a different look to the radiator grille.

Inside, there is a 12.3-inch digital cluster and an 8.0 inch central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality. The sporty version of the ST comes with black seats with contrasting red seams and integrated headrests.

The most powerful version of the Fiesta is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine with 198 hp (145 kW) and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with a manual 6-speed or automatic 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that transmits power to the front axle. The Eco work program has been replaced with the Track program. Dark 18-inch alloy wheels and Quaife ATB limited slip differential will be offered as an option.

The rest of the engine range is based on a liter three-cylinder engine with 48-volt mild hybrid technology.

Mustang Mach-E SSP

After introducing its first all-electric Mustang Mach-E model, Ford has now unveiled a police version of this car called the Mustang Mach-E SSP.

The car was made for England’s Metropolitan Police Force, which will test its capabilities. With more interior space, significantly lower maintenance costs and zero-emission operation, it has attracted the attention of police administrations in the UK.

The body of the Mustang is painted in British police colors, with police markings. It is equipped with the MagneRide Damping System, an adaptive suspension technology that ensures drivers with an exciting and comfortable ride.

The first all-electric Mustang is powered by two electric motors with 480 hp (358 Kw) and 634 lb-ft (860 Nm) of torque. Accelerates to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. It is equipped with an 88 kWh extended range battery pack that produces enough juice for a range of 260 miles (419 kilometers).

It rides on 20-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with high-gloss Ebony Black-painted pockets paired with 245 / 45R20 Pirelli tires.

Ford has also, in the past, supplied police with its Mustang SSP models. Each police car was equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine with additional durability and functionality upgrades, to successfully serve its purpose.

Mustang Mach-E: 100 years of Ford in one man’s life

Ford allowed one of its fans to drive a Mustang Mach-E. It is Mr. Harold Baggott who is celebrating his 101st birthday.

He started driving in 1930 when he was 10 years old. The first vehicle he drove was the milkman’s delivery float on his farm, a Ford T. Since 1937, when he was licensed, Mr. Harold Baggott owned 20 Ford models, and the first model he bought was a Ford 8 Popular.

“Since the age of 10, I’ve retained my interest in motoring and today find myself interested in the switch to electrification following the government phasing out the traditional combustion engines I’m used to. I have reminisced about my driving history with the Model T and seen what the future has in store. It was exciting to get behind the wheel of what I expect to see my great-grandchildren will be driving, ”said Mr. Harold Baggott.

Enjoying the ride of the new Mustang Mach-E, Mr. Baggott was particularly impressed with the performance and “sound” produced by this electric car. His two great-grandchildren were in the car with him. The Baggott family is a big fan of Ford cars, as evidenced by the fact that it owns 140 units.
