Pagani Huayra Codalunga limited edition

Italian carmaker Pagani has unveiled a special car, the Huayra Codalunga. It is a limited edition of a car that collectors insisted on. Pagani will produce only five copies of this model, and each will cost more than 7 million euros.

The idea for the project arose in 2018 when collectors asked Pagani to produce a long-tail version of the Pagani Huayra Coupé, with a design like the 60s cars competing in 24 Hours of Le Mans. Now, four years later, Pagani has revealed what the Codalunga project looks like, for which five customers have set aside seven million euros each. Each car is made in cooperation with the owner.

“A client is not someone who only buys from you once. A real client comes back again and again ”- Horacio Pagani, Founder & Chief Designer, Pagani Automobili.

The car is currently in the testing phase, and lightweight materials, such as titanium and aluminum, were used in its construction. So now this hyper car weighs only 1,280 kg (2,822 lb). By presenting a limited edition Huayra Codalunga, Pagani took the opportunity to announce that a new generation of supersport car is in preparation.

When it comes to powertrain, the Pagani Huayra Codalunga is known to be powered by a centrally located 6-liter biturbo V12 engine with 840 hp (618 kW) and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all wheels via a 7-speed transmission.

Pagani Huayra R – New Super Fast Car

The Pagani Huayra R is one of the new super fast cars. This Italian supercar was developed in partnership with HWA AG and has 850 hp.

Since the beginning of the year, when it was introduced, the Pagani Huayra R has been tested for the first time on the track at Monza Circuit, where it has shown all its abilities. This timeless car is inspired by race cars of the 60s and 70s, said Horacio Pagani.

The best composite materials such as Carbo-Titanium HP62-G2 and Carbo-Triax HP62 were used in the construction of the car. The front and rear steel frames increase the rigidity of the car, which significantly affects the driver’s safety. Thanks to the lightweight materials, the car weighs only 2314 lb (1,050 kg). It uses 19 inch forged monolithic aluminum alloy with Pirelli P Zero tires.

The Pagani Huayra R is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine with 850 hp (625 kW) at 8250 rpm and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque (at 5500 to 8300 rpm). Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed non-synchronized sequential transmission. Huayra R reaches 60 mph in 3 seconds with a top speed of 240 mph (386 km / h).

The Huayra R has a new exhaust system made of ceramic-coated Inconel alloy, which makes the car sound like a Formula 1. The car comes with mufflers that reduce noise at within the FIA limit of 110 decibels.

Pagani will produce only 30 copies of this supercar at a price of $ 3.1 million (€ 2.6 million).
