Can the Porsche 911 GT2 RS beat the 911 Turbo S & GT3 in drag race?

Once again, the guys from Carwow opposed three super powerful and fast cars. This time it is Porsche models 911 (992) Turbo S, GT2 RS and the new 911 GT3.

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine with 700 hp (515 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It reaches 60 mph in 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 211 mph (340 kph).

The Porsche 911 GT3 is powered by a 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six engine with an impressive 510 hp (375 kW) and 347 lb-ft (470 Nm) of torque. It reaches 60 mph in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 197 mph (318 kph). Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via manual or automatic seven-speed transmission (PDK). It is equipped with carbon ceramic brakes, and 20-inch wheels on the front and 21-inch wheels on the rear with Michelin PS Cup 2 tires.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine with 650 hp (478 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic PDK transmission. It reaches 62 mph in an impressive 2.3 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph (330 kph).

All three models are super fast but also super expensive. The price of the 911 Turbo S is around $ 218,000 (£ 164,650), the 911 GT2 RS is around $ 397,000 (£ 300,000) and the 911 GT3 is around $ 169,000 (£ 128,000).

The Porsche 911 Turbo S showed its superiority at 1/4 mile with a time of 10.2 seconds, slightly slower was the GT2 RS with 10.4 seconds, while the GT3 was last with 11 seconds.

The TechArt GTstreet R Cabriolet is limited to 87 examples

Three decades of experience have resulted in the unique car of the German tuner company TechArt. This powerful TechArt GTstreet R Cabriolet is based on the current 911 Turbo S version. Since this is a limited edition, only 87 examples will be produced.

With the planned delay, the Convertible version of the currently most powerful Porsche 911 (992) was subjected to the same treatment. As a remainder, the most powerful Porsche is powered by a 3.7-liter six-cylinder engine with 650 hp (478 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque.

The GTstreet R Cabriolet is equipped with several new carbon elements, such as a carbon body or rear wing, which gives it a more aggressive look. The TechArt GTstreet R Cabriolet is powered by a 3.7-liter six-cylinder engine with 800 hp (588 kW) and 701 lb-ft (950 Nm) of torque. The engine produces enough juice for the GTstreet R to reach a top speed of 217 mph (350 km / h).
