2024 Toyota Land Cruiser

In a few days, Toyota will present the new generation of its Land Cruiser SUV, and predictions have already begun as to what it might look like. The automotive magazine Kolesa has published its renderings based on available photos.

The new generation is inspired by the FJ62 model from the late eighties of the last century. The new Land Cruiser has a slightly different front end with rectangular headlights and simple side fenders, the windows look big and there’s a prominent roof rack.

The interior is still unknown. Only one photo has surfaced showing a toggle switch to select between high and low gears and a medium setting for the H4L, presumably referring to high gears with a locked differential.

When it comes to the powertrain, there is no information there either. There are many speculations, and some say that it will be based on Toyota’s GA-F platform (body-on-frame). The same platform is used by the Lexus GX, which is powered by a 3.4-liter V6 twin-turbo engine with 349 hp (257 kW) and 479 lb-ft (649 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission with a Torsen limited-slip differential.

2024 Toyota C-HR

After successful testing, Toyota released a teaser of the second generation of the C-HR model. The arrival was announced last year when Toyota hinted that the crossover from the B segment was completely redesigned.

A few details have been revealed so far, it is known that the C-HR has a slightly shorter suspension, but is slightly more spacious inside, which means that it has a longer wheelbase. Toyota’s Hammerhead front fascia is inspired by newer models, while the door handles are integrated into the body for better aerodynamics. Although the camouflaged car on test had a Toyota logo on the rear, it cannot be seen in the teaser. Is this the final design, remains to be seen.

The car will be available alongside other Toyota crossovers, such as the Yaris Cross and Aygo X. One of the new things that the C-HR brings is that it will also be offered as a plug-in hybrid version. The PHEV will use batteries manufactured in Europe and will be sold as a standard plug-in hybrid.

The premiere will take place on June 26, and the first cars on the market are expected by the end of the year.

Widebody Toyota GR Supra

Debates about cars are constant, and one of them has been going on for years. It is about whether Toyota, by creating the A90 model, achieved what was expected with the GR Supra model. Opinions differ, but one car is undoubtedly attracting attention.

This example is the work of the company Wheels Boutique, which equipped the Supra with a special body kit and a new set of Anrky Wheels rims wrapped in Toyo R888R tires, which enhanced the aggressive look of the vehicle. Traditional Supra fans may not like it, but those who like tuned Japanese models will probably give it a positive rating.

The body kit was done by Street Hunter Designs and includes front and rear wheel arch extensions, a new splitter and a large rear wing that extends from the standard trunk lid spoiler, as well as a new diffuser.
