Mercedes-Benz S-Class

The new generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class embodies technology, luxury, comfort and design. Mercedes highlights the second generation of the MBUX system (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) which debuts in the new S-Class.

Using cameras on the upper control panel and learning algorithms, MBUX Interior Assist recognizes and predicts passenger intentions. It does this by interpreting head directions, hand movements, and body language.

Thanks to the steering of the rear axle (optional), the S-Class is as manageable as a compact car in the city. The steering angle on the rear axle is up to ten degrees, while the turning circle is reduced to 2 meters. In the event of a side impact with another vehicle, the vehicle body can be raised thanks to the E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL suspension system (optional) within a few tenths. This is a new feature of PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side: it can reduce loads on passengers by directing impact forces towards particularly resistant structures in the lower part of the vehicle.

With a Cd of 0.22, the S-Class is one of the most aerodynamic cars in the world. Although the frontal area of the new S-Class has increased slightly to 2.5 square meters, the drag coefficient has been further reduced compared to the previous model. The product of Cd and A is 0.56 square meters, which is 200 square centimeters less than the previous model.

The S-Class has made improvements in aeroacoustics. The new model is even quieter. The high rigidity of the body provides the basis for outstanding comfort while reducing noise and vibration.

The standard S-Class is the S500 4Matic, and the upgrade is the S580 4Matic. It comes with Mercedes’ impressive 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine with the S500. It makes 429 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque, aided by Mercedes’ EQ Boost system. The S-Class runs on a 48-volt electrical architecture that powers a number of important functions. The upgrade S580 also takes advantage of the 48-volt architecture, but it’s powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. Output is up to 496 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque for this model. Both use Mercedes’ nine-speed automatic transmission for shifting duties.

Aston Martin DB11 – The car you’ve been waiting for

Aston Martin DB11 is the most powerful and most efficient ‘DB’ production model in Aston Martin’s history. DB11 sets a formidable new standard for sporting Grand Tourers and takes the legendary ‘DB’ lineage to unprecedented heights.

Instantly recognisable, its design looks inherently right, yet utterly different. Its form develops organically from nose to tail; muscle and sinew building volume and shaping surface details, with classical proportions providing the perfect bone structure beneath. Familiar elements have evolved. All-new LED head and tail-lights create expressive visual signatures. Triumphant new elements, such as the dramatic roof strake, underline DB11’s confidence and originality. The new side strakes, key to DB11’s pioneering aerodynamics, bring harmony of form and function. The pure and honest product of authentic, justified lines, Aston Martin DB11 is an immaculate work of automotive art.

Stronger, safer, more dynamic and space-efficient. Increasing the wheelbase by 65 mm has enabled the positioning of the V12 engine further back for near- perfect weight distribution. The door apertures are larger, front seat occupant s enjoy 10 mm of extra headroom, while rear wards, a 54 mm increase in headroom and 87 mm more legroom mean DB11 is a true 2+2. With a luggage compartment that can swallow two golf bags and ISOFIX points enabling the fitment of two child seats, this exhilarating Grand Tourer is real world prepared.

DB11’s new twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 engine, boasting 600 bhp and 700 Nm of torque, makes this the most powerful DB production model in Aston Martin’s history. It’s also the most dynamic, reaching 200 mph, with 62 mph dispatched in 3.9 seconds. What’s less expected is that DB11 is the cleanest and most fuel efficient DB ever produced. Effortlessly potent, DB11’s beating heart has huge reserves of power, delivered as the revs climb, with a rich, potent howl. By alternating between banks of cylinders during low demand periods, less fuel is consumed.

Select GT mode for exemplary ride quality, or switch to Sport for added firmness and agility assisted by the new electric power steering and Torque Vectoring limited-slip differential. Selecting Sport Plus entirely turns-up the intensity; suspension, steering, eight-speed automatic transmission and Torque Vectoring system work in unison to truly awaken the sports car within.

Jaguar XE – instinctively manages to catch the eye

Get behind the wheel of an Jaguar XE and you feel like you’re sitting in a sports car. You’ll note the soft grain leather steering wheel and form-hugging 14-way adjustable front seats. You’ll appreciate the impeccable attention to detail, and how everything is so pleasingly uncluttered and considerately functional.

A refreshed cockpit-style interior offers outstanding levels of comfort, and the raised center console adds to its sportiness. So, when you settle into that plush leather seat, you connect with the car straight away. Just reach for the pulsing start button – a more engaging driving experience awaits.

JaguarDrive Control™ allows you to select from Comfort, Eco, Dynamic, and Rain/Ice/Snow Modes. Each mode has its own tailor-made program that alters different parameters, such as engine and transmission response, steering feel, parasitic load management or traction and stability control. The optional Adaptive Dynamics system makes for vastly improved ride comfort and dynamic body control using continuously variable damping technology. The system monitors multiple sensors that analyze vertical wheel positions, vehicle acceleration, steering inputs, as well as throttle and brake pedal activity to adjust the suspension damping settings. This provides a near-perfect balance of comfort, refinement and agility.

XE is the culmination of Jaguar’s prowess at designing and building sports cars. A lightweight aluminum chassis and double wishbone front suspension enable the highest levels of handling and road holding. Also, there’s intelligent Torque Vectoring by Braking technology. On tight turns, it applies the brake to the inside wheel and directs more rotating force from the engine to the wheel with the most grip.

The wellbeing of you and your passengers is of the utmost importance to us. That’s why XE comes equipped with the latest technologies. Engine drag torque control helps prevent wheel slip in adverse weather conditions by providing a gentle push to the wheels where needed.

The Jaguar XE offers two types of engines: – P250 GAS: The Ingenium 2.0 liter 4-cylinder 247HP Turbocharged Gas engine produces 269lb-ft of torque and delivers outstanding fuel economy and drivability. For excellent acceleration and effortless overtaking, maximum torque is available between 1,300-4,500 rpm. The twin-scroll turbocharger is fed by an integrated exhaust manifold which increases the transfer of energy to the turbine – significantly reducing turbo lag and improving engine response.

– P300 GAS: The high-performance Ingenium 2.0 liter 4-cylinder 296HP Turbocharged Gas engine features upgrades to the boosting system. Delivering a peak torque of 295lb-ft between 1,500-4,500 rpm. The uprated turbocharger features a high-flow compressor wheel, delivering 26 percent more air, enabling a peak power output of 296HP. The twin-scroll turbocharger features ceramic ball bearings which reduce friction and improve transient response.
