Many Porsche models are already in the process of partial or full electrification, but only the legendary 911 manages to resist. According to Autocar, the new Panamera will be fully electric and will be slightly larger than its predecessor. It will be built on the SSP platform that will be used on future models.

For 2027, Porsche has announced a new generation of Taycan, and the Panamera should find its place above it. According to Autocar, the Stuttgart-based company is currently working on more advanced 800 V battery technology with higher energy density, which will definitely affect the car’s range. Currently, the Taycan has a range of 318 miles (WLTP) on a fully charged battery.

Porsche’s long-term goals are that by 2030, 80 percent of all cars sold will be electric models. Thus, for 2024, Porsche announced the arrival of the fully electric Macan as well as the 718 Cayman.
