ABT RS3-R based on the Audi RS3

The Audi RS3 is a top-of-the-line car that, after its introduction last year, demonstrated its capabilities on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. However, the German company ABT Sportsline believes that the car can and must be better, so it presented a limited edition ABT RS3-R.

The ABT RS3-R is equipped with a special equipment kit that brings a lot of carbon parts with a high-gloss finish, sports stabilizer bars, ABT intercooler, adjustable suspension and ABT suspension springs that enable a lowering range of 20-40 mm at the front and rear axle. There’s also a set of 20-inch ABT High Performance HR20 alloy wheels wrapped in 245/30 R20 Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport R tires.

The limited edition ABT RS3-R is powered by a 2.5-liter 5-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 500 hp (368 kW) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. That’s a significant increase considering the RS3 has 400 hp (294 kW) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h). Drivers will be able to choose between ECO, SPORT or RACE mode.

The blackest Porsche 911 in the world

Cars can be painted in different colors and shades, which plays a big role when buying. But there are companies that strive to produce special colors and shades like the Japanese company Koyo Orient Japan which is responsible for the blackest Porsche 911 in the world.

The specially made Musou black paint absorbs 99.4 percent of light, and the car is so dark that it is almost impossible to spot at night. It is the darkest shade of water-based acrylic paint and is almost identical to the Vantablack shade with which BMW painted the X6 presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which absorbs almost 100 percent of light (99.96 percent to be exact).

YouTube channel Pit one (ピットワン) has published a video of the process of turning a black Porsche 911 into the blackest Porsche 911 in the world.

2023 Ferrari LMH is getting ready for the new WEC season

After half a century, Ferrari returns to the top class of the WEC (World Endurance Championship). The most famous race of this competition is the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 2023 Ferrari LMH prototype is currently in the final testing phase.

The news about the new Ferrari LMH prototype was confirmed at the beginning of the year by the head of Ferrari Attività Sportive GT, Antonello Coletta, saying that this is a big step forward for Ferrari, which will compete in the LMH class from 2023. Testing is taking place at the Fiorano track , and published photos of the camouflaged car don’t show much.

An experienced AF Corse team will be in charge of Ferrari’s LMH prototypes. “We are proud of this announcement. It is the crowning of a dream and recognition of the great effort made over the years. Our partnership with Ferrari is a winning one that began in 2006, and I am delighted to continue it in the LMH project. We have immediately kicked off with great enthusiasm aiming to raise the bar even further and to be ready for this new challenge,” said AF Corse team owner Amato Ferrari.

When it comes to the powertrain, it is known that the car will be a hybrid. Ferrari did not release more information. Thus, Ferrari will join Toyota and Peugeot, which have announced their participation in the top class of the WEC. Ferrari hopes that LMH will have the same success as the F430 GT2, which won all three titles in its debut season (team, drivers and constructors).
