1993 Toyota Supra with Abflug wide-body kit is up for auction

In October, Toyota announced that its sports car and grand tourer, the Supra, which has been on the market since 1978, will remain on the market after 2026. One interesting example of this car, the 1993 Toyota Supra, with a rare Abflug wide -body kit is up for auction, which will be held on December 7.

The car is finished in Super White, and in addition to the Abflug wide-body kit, it is equipped with front bumper, eyeliner, bonnet, F & R fender, door, sidestep, rear bumper, spoiler, door mirror, inner fender, and various mounting hardware. White leather with back inserts, along with the addition of a Simoni Racing steering wheel, boost gauge and Pioneer DVD/TV installation, adorn the car’s interior.

The Supra was first registered in 1993, imported to Great Britain in 2004. It has been owned by the current owner since 2020, and the odometer reads 121,019 km.

Under the bonnet is a twin-turbo 3.0-liter 2HZ-GTE straight-six engine with around 400 hp (294 kW), mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.

The car comes with some older invoices which include a recent service, plugs, battery, alternator and more costing £1,200, MOT (no advisories) and private plate. Estimated value of the car is £20,000 – £25,000 + VAT.

Bugatti Mistral reached a speed of 453.9 km/h

The Bugatti Mistral is a really powerful and fast car, which it showed at the end of 2022 when it became the fastest convertible in the world with a 420 km/h (261 mph). However, a few days ago this model with World Record Edition specifications raised the bar by reaching a speed of 453.9 km/h on the Papenburg test track.

The Mistral is based on the Bugatti Chiron and is named after the wind that blows in the Rhone River Valley. Only 99 units were produced and all were sold before the car premiered. The car was driven by British top speed specialist and Le Mans winner Andy Wallace.

Speaking of design, the X-shaped rear lights with air vents below them are reminiscent of the Bugatti Bolide, while the design of the curved windshield, as well as the twin roof-mounted air vents for engine cooling, are reminiscent of 1930s design. Inside, the seats are upholstered in a combination of black and yellow leather with stitching. The same design can be seen on the door panels and dashboard, while the steering wheel is wrapped in black leather. The shift lever is made from one piece of aluminum and has wood inserts and amber detailing.

Mistral is powered by a centrally located turbocharged 8-liter W16 engine with 1,600 hp (1,177 kW) and 1,180 lb-ft (1,600 Nm) of torque. The same engine powers the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+. It reaches 62 mph (100 km / h) in just 2.4 seconds, 124 mph (200 km / h) in 5.8 seconds, and 186 mph (300 km / h) in about 12 seconds. Power is transmitted to all wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 tested on the Nürburgring Nordschleife

The guys from the YouTube channel “Sport Auto” tested the new generation Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 with US Spec on one of the world’s most famous tracks, the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The car, powered for the first time by a centrally located 5.5-L engine, achieved a lap time of 7.10.51 min.

This Corvette C8 Z06 is the eighth generation of one of America’s most famous cars, and it was tested on the Nordschleife by German racer/journalist Christian Gebhardt. Also, it should be pointed out that the previous generation of this model was also driven on the 20.8 km long track, but it was a bit slower.

The Corvette C8 Z06 is powered by a 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with 679 hp (499 kW) at 8,400 rpm and 459 lb-ft (623 Nm) of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear axle. Since it is an American model, it does not have a gasoline particulate filter. It’s mounted on 20″ and 21″ wheels wrapped in 275/30 R20 front and 345/25 R21 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires.

The car was almost perfect on the track, and some believe that by “removing some weight” the Corvette C8 Z06 would have a faster time. Anyway, it can be said that the test was still successful since it was faster than some of the competitors like Porsche 918 Spyder or Mercedes-AMG GT-R.
