Ford Fiesta with several new equipment kits

Three years ago, Ford introduced the eighth generation Fiesta for the European market. Now it reveals a redesigned model of one of the most popular European cars from the B segment.

The new Fiesta will be offered in several equipment packages, and will come standard with LED lights in dark cases. The lights will be combined with adaptive matrix technology in more expensive versions. Each of the equipment packages will offer a different look to the radiator grille.

Inside, there is a 12.3-inch digital cluster and an 8.0 inch central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality. The sporty version of the ST comes with black seats with contrasting red seams and integrated headrests.

The most powerful version of the Fiesta is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine with 198 hp (145 kW) and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with a manual 6-speed or automatic 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that transmits power to the front axle. The Eco work program has been replaced with the Track program. Dark 18-inch alloy wheels and Quaife ATB limited slip differential will be offered as an option.

The rest of the engine range is based on a liter three-cylinder engine with 48-volt mild hybrid technology.

Kia military hydrogen vehicles

Kia will enrich its rich military program with a new series of vehicles, but powered by hydrogen, reports The Korean.

And while Hyundai is one of the most active supporters of hydrogen propulsion, Kia is only now slowly getting involved in the race. Kia would also introduce a hydrogen-powered personal vehicle, and that should happen by 2028, ten years after Hyundai introduced the hydrogen-powered Nexo.

This news was confirmed by the company. Song Ho-sung, president of Kia Motors, said at the Hydrogen Mobility Show that Kia would focus on using hydrogen propulsion in the military segment for multifunction vehicles and power generators, and only then would the technology be offered in the passenger car program.

Perhaps unexpected, especially since the recently unveiled Hyundai Vision FK. This hydrogen athlete uses the base of Kia Stinger.

“The Vision FK is a bit of technical overkill, but it is an exciting challenge for our ambitious engineers,” said Hyundai’s head of research and development, Albert Biermann.

With 670 hp (500 kW), it reaches 62 mph in less than 4 seconds. Thanks to a complex system that combines a fuel cell energy converter with rear-wheel drive and a “plug-in” system of rechargeable batteries, Vision FK has a range of 370 miles (600 kilometers).

2022 Mazda CX-5

Mazda has unveiled new versions of its sleek, spacious and dynamic CX-5 SUV.

The car has a new three-dimensional grille, and Mazda designers have changed the look of the headlights and taillights. Also, the range of body colors has been expanded, so it is now possible to choose the Zircon Sand color.

The new CX-5 comes with significant improvements including Mi-Drive driving modes, improved driving dynamics, changed design, practicality improvements, greater differences in equipment levels, increased range and a range of safety systems.

The Drive Select (Mi-Drive) system allows the driver to select the most appropriate driving mode with just one touch of a button. Some models equipped with i-Activ AWD all-wheel drive have Off-Road mode, which makes driving more natural on slippery surfaces.

The CX-5 also benefited from Mazda’s next-generation Skyactiv-Vehicle platform that brings body, suspension and seat evolution. This has improved comfort and reduced driver and passenger fatigue. Insulation has also been significantly improved, especially in driving situations on rough surfaces.

It will be powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 250 hp. Power is transmitted to all wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.

Sales of the redesigned CX-5 will begin next, and the price is currently unknown.
