2023 McLaren 750S

Last year, McLaren discontinued its 720S sports model, and now the British company has revealed its successor, the McLaren 750S. It is McLaren’s lightest production model.

This sports car is equipped with a hydraulic steering system, making it one of the best cars on the road/track. The latest edition of McLaren’s adaptive suspension (PCC III) is hidden behind ultra-light rims, while the list of optional equipment also includes the carbon-ceramic brakes used by the McLaren Senna.

The car weighs only 1,276 kilograms, which makes it lighter than its predecessor by thirty kilograms. The McLaren 750S is powered by a mid-mounted 4.0-L biturbo V8 engine with 750 hp (552 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, which is 30 hp more than the McLaren 720S. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with shortened gear ratios compared to the 720S.

More power allows the 750S to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds, 124 mph (200 km/h) in 7.2 seconds and 186 mph (300 km/h) in less than 20 seconds. The top speed that this two-seater can reach is 206 (332 km/h).

2023 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo

In 2018, McLaren unveiled its new racing car, the McLaren 720S GT3. Now comes a better version of this model with better aerodynamics and durability called McLaren 720S GT3 Evo.

The car was homologated for the new season, the race car received a new front bumper and splitter allowing teams to quickly change parts. By installing new body parts, additional downforce and stability of the vehicle on the track was created. There is also a new hood, the auxiliary lights have been moved to allow better visibility during night races. At the back, the rear wing is placed slightly higher to further increase downforce.

The McLaren 720S GT3 Evo is fitted with adjustable TTX40 Ohlins shock absorbers, while engineers have made additional changes to the front and rear upper arms, and there are more durable brake discs. When it comes to the powertrain, there is no information for now.

When it comes to other models, McLaren will soon present the new road-going 750S, which is expected to be a coupe in a convertible version. It will be powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine with 740 hp, which is 30 hp more than its predecessor, the McLaren 720S. The starting price will be $342,000.

McLaren 720S with Prior Design Aerodynamic Kit

Many car owners and enthusiasts will say that supercars shouldn’t be modified. Some manufacturers like Ferrari forbid customers from modifying their cars in inappropriate ways, but there are always those who strive to make the cars better. One of them is the German tuner Prior Design, which prepared the PD720R Aerodynamic Kit for the McLaren 720S.

The Aerodynamic Kit, made of fiberglass, brings a new lip spoiler with intakes, fender vents, a new more aggressive front cover, wider sills, a new rear diffuser, a huge rear wing that fits perfectly following the natural curves of the car. All this makes the car more impressive.

Of course, the interior of the McLaren 720S has not been changed. Get behind the wheel of the 720S and feel like the car was made for you. That’s because everything about this stunning interior is focused on the driver. From the touch of the materials. To the ergonomic design of the driver interfaces. There’s supreme quality and comfort in every detail. Controls are carefully angled and positioned for easy reach with minimal distraction. It’s an interior created around you. Allowing full commitment to an exhilarating drive.

McLaren 720S is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 710 hp (530 kW) and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. The engine is positioned as low as possible between the front and rear axles – increasing the car’s handling prowess, and its luggage capacity. It reaches 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and 124 mph (200 km / h) in 7.8 seconds with a top speed of 212 mph (341 km / h). The engine is paired with a paddle-shifted seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
