Modified 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera is up for auction

At a time when the price of used cars is increasing, many owners are trying to make extra profit by selling their cars. So, now we often see low-mileage or modified cars on the market, some of which fetch enormous prices. Such could be the case with this 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera that is being offered at auction.

This 911 Carrera has the body of the Carrera RS model and is powered by a 3.6L flat-six engine from 1990. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 915 five-speed manual transmission with a Sachs Power clutch kit and an external oil cooler. It is mounted on 17-inch Fuchs and RSR-style wheels wrapped in 225/45 (front) and 255/40 (rear) Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tires.

The car is finished in Glacier Blue with black RS-style graphics on the bonnet and on both sides, which makes it look remarkable. It is equipped with RS-style bumpers, black horn and decklid grilles, EB Motorsport ducktail fiberglass rear spoiler, bright window trim, H4 headlights with chrome trim rings, Euro-spec amber taillights, a chrome driver-side mirror, brake discs on all four wheel and Bilstein B6 shock absorbers.

Inside, the Recaro bucket seats are upholstered in black leather, which covers the door panels and dashboard. The MOMO Prototipo steering wheel is also wrapped in black leather, while the rear seats and radio have been removed. The clock shows 104,660 km.

This 911 Carrera is being offered on consignment by the selling dealer in Norway with Norwegian registration.

The auction ends on December 28th and the current highest bid is $85,000 USD.
