Mansory and MTM Audi RS6 Avant

Tuner collaboration isn’t a common case, but when it does, it’s usually about great projects. One such example is the collaboration between Mansory and MTM on the Audi RS6 Avant upgrade project, in which Mansory is in charge of the body kit while MTM is in charge of engine performance.

The performance of the base Audi RS6 Avant is impressive, but that was not enough for the tuners who increased the power of the car, which can still serve as a family vehicle.

The Mansory equipment kit brings a black body color with blue stripes on the sides and across the entire length of the vehicle, two spoilers (on the roof and rear doors), two pairs of exhaust pipes, two vents on the bonnet, numerous carbon components and aerodynamic improvements such as a massive front spoiler , which gives it a more aggressive look. It is equipped with black 22-inch wheels with larger blue brake calipers.

MTM’s well-done work can be seen on the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 820 hp (603 kW) and 861 lb-ft (1,167 Nm) of torque. This is a significant increase in power as the standard RS6 Avant has 591 hp (435 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph (330 km / h). Power is transmitted to all wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Porsche 911 Turbo S E-Hybrid

A few days ago, a video appeared on YouTube showing a Porsche 911 Turbo S E-Hybrid. For some it is expected, for others it is not. This is not the first 911 Hybrid since Porsche produced the 911 GT3 R Hybrid race car, but it is the first road-legal.

In the video, which lasts a little less than two minutes, and which was shot on the Nurburgring race track, the car has no camouflage, so it can be concluded that the biggest changes can be expected under the hood. According to CarSpyMedia, the car will not have an 800 volt-electrical-system, as is the case with the Porsche Taycan, but a 400 volt-electrical system. The tinted rear windows hide the batteries located behind the front seats.

Earlier, the CEO of Porsche said that the 911 Hybrid should be the leader of the new generation of models from the 911 family (992). For now, there is no information about the performance of this car, but it can be guessed that it will be more powerful than the Turbo S model.

The introduction of the 911 Turbo S E-Hybrid is expected in 2023, while the first models should arrive on the market in early 2024.

Porsche Platinum Edition

In 2009, Porsche introduced the first model of the Panamera. Twelve years later, the Stuttgart-based company offers a new equipment kit for this luxury model, the Porsche Platinum Edition. The first units are expected early next year.

The Platinum Edition equipment kit offers more standard equipment such as tinted windows, adaptive LED Matrix lights, black exhaust tailpipes, air suspension with adaptive dampers, a new shade on the rear LED headlight housings and dark 21-inch alloy wheels. Customers will be able to choose between 13 standard and four special body colors.

Inside, the front 14-way heated and ventilated seats are upholstered in black leather with a Porsche crest imprinted on the headrests. Sixth generation wireless multimedia system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay apps, four air conditioning zones are just some of the equipment that will make the driving experience even better.

Under the hood, nothing has changed. All three Panamera models (Standard, Panamera 4 and Panamera 4 Hybrid) will be powered by standard engines. The Panamera 4 Platinum Edition, powered by a 2.9-liter biturbo V6 engine with 330 hp (243 kW) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque, costs $ 107,350. For the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid with 462 hp (340 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque, customers will have to pay $ 116,550. The standard model is the cheapest and costs $ 103,250.
