Bugatti Centodieci and EB110 SuperSport

At the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event on Lake Como in Italy, Bugatti unveiled two new models, the Centodieci and the EB110 SuperSport.

Speaking of Centodieca, it is a limited edition of this model whose production started a few years ago. Now Bugatti will produce only 10 units of this model, and the first customers will have the opportunity to drive them next year. With the Centodisci model, Bugatti pays tribute to the Bugatti EB110 model by celebrating the company’s 110th birthday.

Under the hood is an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine with 1578 hp (1,176 kW). The same engine, Bugatti uses in the Chiron model but with 99 hp less. Power is transmitted to all wheels via a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission. It reaches 62 mph in just 2.4 seconds with a top speed electronically limited to 240 mph (380 km / h).

The event celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Bugatti EB110 SuperSport. Car development began in 1987, and production lasted from 1991 to 1995. During that period, only 139 units of this model were produced. The EB110 SuperSport is powered by a 3.5-liter quad-turbocharged V12 engine with 603 hp (450 kW). The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission that transmits power to all wheels.

The event was also attended by Italian entrepreneur Romano Artioli who relaunched Bugatti in 1987. He said:

“I left my heart in my Supersport. No other car gives the same sensation of power, control and safety in every road condition as the EB110 – and with such beautiful style. I could not be more proud for “her” to be at the Concours d’Elegance in Villa D’Este. ”

Special attention was drawn to the Bugatti EB110 Supersport “America.” This seminal supercar represents the second period of Bugatti’s history, and was also the inspiration for Centodieci.

Speaking of price, the Bugatti Centodieci will not be cheap. Each unit will cost around $ 8.9 million (€ 8 million).

New Skoda Superb

From the Czech car manufacturer Skoda, a new generation of Superb models is coming soon.

Recently, the first official sketches of the new Superb model appeared, according to which Kolesa magazine made renderings of its possible appearance. It seems like the new model could keep a proven look. The car will have a lower roofline and wide and thin taillights.

Exterior design coordinator Petr Matusinec said earlier this year that the new Superb will follow an evolutionary approach when it comes to the exterior. The first sketches showed similar proportions and design lines as with the model that is still available in salons.

European customers recognize the practicality of the Skoda models, compared to the competition. The new Superb will be slightly larger than its predecessor, to leave enough market space for the current Octavia.

Prototypes with a production body and headlights are expected soon, and when they appear on the road, we’ll probably have an even clearer picture of what to expect from the new D-segment model.

The new Skoda Superb is intended for the European market, and the arrival is expected in 2023.

Audi and Lamborghini traffic accident

From the United States comes a video of the accident in which Audi and Lamborghini were involved. Although the video shows who is to blame for the car accident, believe it or not, the girl from Audi blamed the driver of the Lamborghini for the accident. As the footage shows, the driver of the Lamborghini stops at a red traffic light. At that moment, the driver of the Audi, while changing the lane, crashed into the back of a Lamborghini. Fortunately, no one was injured, and insurance will likely cover the damage on the Lamborghini.

Ironically, the Lamborghini Aventador bears the Beep license plate, referring to the car owner’s business. That’s Matt Heller, owner of HornBlasters, a company that makes powerful sirens and advertises itself as a solution for all small cars whose drivers want their voice heard as well.

All in all, enough to emphasize once again how important it is for a driver in traffic to be focused solely on driving. If a minor accident happens, try to react calmly. First help the injured, and only then do the rest.
