Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar

After many years of absence, Peugeot is finally returning to Le Mans racing with a new hypercar, the Peugeot 9X8.

Ever since 2011, when they last participated, this time Peugeot is back with an outstanding car. It is a design without a rear wing, and Peugeot says that they have achieved aerodynamics that leave the vehicle on the ground.

Stellantis Motorsport CEO Jean-Marc Finot said: “The absence of the rear wing is the most innovative step forward for the Peugeot 9X8. We’ve achieved aerodynamic efficiency without this add-on. Don’t ask how! We intend to keep it a secret for as long as we can! “

The Peugeot 9X8 is powered by a 2.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 680 hp and rear-wheel drive, and an electric motor with 272 hp (200 kW) and front-wheel drive. The electric motor is powered by a 900-volt battery. The engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid

Although with only one electric vehicle, Bentley plans to switch to electric vehicle production by 2030. The first step was the introduction of another hybrid, the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid.

It is a completely new model with three driving modes: Hybrid, Hold and EV Drive. It will be powered by a 2.9-liter V6 engine with a total power of 536 hp and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. The V6 engine will deliver 410 hp while the rest of the power will be produced by an electric motor located between the transmission and the petrol engine. It will reach 62 mph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 177 mph (285 km / h), which is a good result for a car that is only 110 pounds (50 kg) heavier than the V8 Flying Spur.

The electric motor will be powered by a 14.1 kWh battery that provides a range of 25 miles (40 km). The car uses a standard 20-inch set of tires, while 21/22-inch tires are optional.

The exterior of the Flying Spur Hybrid is almost the same as other Bentley models. Inside, a new 12.3-inch touchscreen display and digital instrument panel are installed. For this model, Bentley offers 7 body color options.

The Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid at U.S. the market is coming in 2022, and the price is currently unknown.

Manhart RQ 900

Manhart Performance has upgraded another Audi model. This time it’s the RQ 900, a high-performance SUV based on the Audi RS Q8.

The Audi RS Q8 is powered by a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine with 600 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, which allows it to reach 62 mph (100 km / h) in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph (305 km / h). This is more than a good result for a car that weighs almost 2.4 tons. However, that did not impress Manhart.

The RQ 900 is powered by the same V8 engine but with 918 hp and 870 lb-ft (1,180 Nm) of torque. This is still better than Mansory, ABT and MTM, and is currently the second most powerful tuned Audi RS Q8 behind Wheelsandmore’s 996 hp beast.

To achieve high performance, Manhart has installed a new intercooler and a turbo performance kit. Wider fenders, front splitter, rear spoiler, and a new stainless steel exhaust system with four 100 mm exhaust pipes with ceramic or carbon finish have been installed. The RQ 900 has an adjustable suspension that allows lowering by 30 or 40 mm.

Inside, there are leather upholstery with decorative stitching, Manhart floor mats, and “golden” details on the dashboard, steering wheel and doors.

The RQ 900 will use MANHART Classic Line rims with 24-inch tires measuring 295/30 ZR24 and 355/25 ZR24.
